Three Journeys Across Asia 3*

Three countries, three capital cities, one Asian epic

Set off on a private adventure to the heart of three iconic Asian destinations: China, South Korea and Japan, exploring their fascinating capital cities. This journey invites you to discover captivating cultures where a heritage stretching back millennia coexists with a modernity that is resolutely forward-looking.

In Beijing, immerse yourself in the grandeur of China’s imperial history, from the majestic Forbidden City and the impressive Great Wall to the hutongs – traditional neighbourhoods where the atmosphere of old Beijing remains palpable.

In Seoul, the scene changes: the South Korean capital blends contemporary energy, pop culture and futuristic architecture, whilst never losing sight of its roots. Royal palaces, traditional hanoks, trendy neighbourhoods and the buzz of city life come together to create a contrasting and captivating portrait of South Korea.

Then comes Tokyo, a fascinating metropolis where innovation seems to know no bounds. Neon lights, cutting-edge technology and ultra-modern districts sit side by side with centuries-old temples, peaceful shrines and meticulously preserved gardens. An immersion in the heart of an extraordinary megalopolis, as surprising as it is fascinating.

To extend your Japanese experience, the 15-night option adds a stopover in Kyoto. As the former imperial capital, the city reveals a more intimate and poetic side of Japan, with its temples, Zen gardens, traditional houses and timeless atmosphere.

Two options, one promise: enjoy a private and immersive experience at the heart of three great Asian civilisations, combining heritage, culture, lifestyle and modernity.

USEFUL INFORMATION

ACCOMMODATION

Hotel classifications in Asia are less common and are not always officially recognised. The “Standard” category refers to comfortable, mid-range accommodation, as selected and defined by our destination experts.

For operational reasons, hotels may occasionally be replaced by accommodation of an equivalent category.

Any specific request regarding the type of bedding (double bed or twin beds) is subject to availability and may incur an additional charge.

In Japan, South Korea and China, hotel rooms are often relatively compact, and beds may be smaller than those typically found in Europe.

Check-in is usually in the middle of the afternoon (3 p.m.–4 p.m.).
Check-out is usually in the morning (10 a.m.)

The accommodation included in this trip is not suitable for guests with reduced mobility or infants under 2 years of age.

Local tourist taxes are payable on site.

ITINERARY

The order of stops and the itinerary may be modified depending on conditions at the destination.

MEALS

Bed & Breakfast package: If, due to the timetables imposed by the airlines, the first and last days are cut short by a late arrival or an early departure, no refund will be given for meals.

Depending on the timetable for excursions or transport at the destination (train, bus, transfer, ferry, etc.), any meals that cannot be taken at the hotel are at the guests’ own expense.

TRANSPORT

PRIVATE TRANSFERS
With a private transfer, your driver will collect you from the arrivals hall at the airport and drop you off directly at your hotel (and vice versa). Your driver will be waiting for you with a sign bearing your name.

SHARED AIRPORT–HOTEL SHUTTLE
The shared shuttle takes you directly from the airport to your hotel and back again. The shuttle may make several stops along the way.

RAIL TRAVEL
In Japan, travelling by train is one of the most convenient ways to get around. Major cities as well as smaller towns are well connected, and the Japanese railway network is extensive, efficient and reliable. It also offers the opportunity to travel on the famous Shinkansen, Japan’s high-speed bullet train, reaching speeds of up to 320 km/h!

South Korea also has a highly developed railway network. As the country is relatively small, travelling by train is one of the most convenient and comfortable ways to get around.
