Breakfast at the hotel. We recommend spending the day exploring the picturesque coastal neighbourhood, which is full of monuments from Portugal's Golden Age. Lisbon's light is unique, whatever the weather. We hope you will take it all in as you explore the places that give this historic and traditional city its unique charm. Against the backdrop of the Tagus River, you can discover monuments bearing witness to Portugal's great maritime explorations, as well as one of the city's most fascinating museums.
Day 3 - Lisbon (Suggested Itinerary)
Discover the wonders of Sintra! We recommend a visit to Pena Palace, Cabo da Roca (the westernmost point of continental Europe), and the seaside towns of Cascais and Estoril.
Day 4 - Lisbon | Porto
Transfer to the station by your own means. Train from Lisbon (Lisboa Oriente) to Porto (Porto Campanha) in 1st class (Alfa Pendular, duration: 2 hours 50 minutes). Transfer to the hotel by your own means. Free time. Accommodation.
Day 5 - Porto (Suggested Itinerary)
Breakfast. Discover Porto's must-see sights on a half-day guided tour. Visit: Porto Cathedral perched on the heights; São Bento Station a museum of azulejo tiles with over 20,000 tiles tracing the history of northern Portugal; and Vila Nova de Gaia, famous for its port wine cellars. Don't miss the tasting of famous Douro wine.
Day 6 - Porto
