Let's discover Bogotá today like the locals, known as \rolos. The walking tour of the capital takes us to the most authentic and historically rich areas of the city. La Candelaria, the historic centre, is a charming place with its brightly coloured houses, carved wooden balconies, and flower-filled patios. On the itinerary: Bolivar Square, Chorro Square with its artists, and colonial houses. Duration: between 3 and 4 hours. Free afternoon. Overnight at the hotel.

Depart from Salento in a Jeep Willys early in the morning to the Cocora Valley. Following the guide's footsteps during a hike, we discover an extraordinary valley where wax palms, the national tree, give the landscape a surreal dimension. We then explore the cloud forests, a very unique ecosystem where we can observe some of the region's characteristic birds. Return to Salento for lunch.

Set off for a short visit to a traditional coffee farm near Salento. You'll walk down to the coffee farm and enjoy the Andean landscapes that the coffee region offers. You can discover the entire process of artisanal coffee production, from picking the beans to the final product. A cup of coffee will be offered to you, and you will also have the opportunity to purchase some bags of coffee for yourself and/or your loved ones. Return by jeep to Salento.

You will have free time to explore this charming little village on your own and perhaps take on the climb of the rock known as Piedra el Peñol. The Piedra del Peñol is a 220-metre-high monolith, an enormous granite mass composed of quartz, feldspar, and mica, which was first climbed in 1954 by a local resident, Luis Eduardo Villegas López. Over the years, Guatape has gained popularity not only because of this unusual rock but also because from the top of its steps, you can discover an extraordinary landscape of lagoons on which you can sail (or try other water sports). It is also worth mentioning the charm of its colourful village, which is listed as a natural and environmental heritage site.

Transport from the hotel to Cartagena airport. Duration: approximately 20 minutes. International flight to Panama City. Transport from Tocumen International Airport to the hotel. Duration: approximately 40 minutes.

Accompanied by a local guide, you will visit Panama's highlights, including the dazzling Balboa Avenue, the local fruit and grocery market, Panama la Vieja, and Casco Antiguo, where you can stroll among Panama's lively squares, observe the colonial-era architecture of the Metropolitan Cathedral, and the remaining historic houses in the district, which is the oldest in Panama City and a UNESCO World Heritage site. We drive to the famous Miraflores Locks to learn more about the operation of this structure, a feat of modern engineering. Return to the hotel at the end of the day. Duration: approximately 6 hours.

An hour from the city, departing from the port of Corotú located on Lake Alajuela, you will board a traditional handmade canoe, known as a 'piragua', which will take you through the lush nature of the Chagres River. You will sail to the foothills of the indigenous community to discover exclusive beaches where you will have free time to enjoy a swim and refreshing drinks. At lunchtime, you will have a traditional meal prepared on-site, complemented with avocados, coffee, and seasonal fruits. On the way back, you will head to the entrance of a trail that ends at a picturesque waterfall (the walk takes about 15-25 minutes, varying depending on the season, which affects the water level and alters the path). The indigenous community we visit, being one of the most remote from the city, offers the opportunity to enjoy wild beaches without crowds. For added safety, we rely on indigenous companions, with whom we have had a very good relationship for years and who know the park's terrain, climate, and our dynamics when walking or going to the river. Duration: 7 hours.

Departure from Panama City to the Atlantic coast and Portobello. We embark on a day of coastal cruising to discover the most beautiful Caribbean tropical beaches in the area, up to Isla Grande. The turquoise water invites us to swim and snorkel (equipment available for small groups). We have lunch on Isla Grande (not included) at a delightful local restaurant. If we wish, we can stop at the Fort of Portobello, a military relic from the time of the Spanish colonial empire. Duration of the excursion: 10h - Land transport: 3h.
