The four-star Hotel Avalon Sikani is located on a peaceful hill overlooking the sea in northern Sicily, in Gioiosa Marea. The rooms are clean, air-conditioned, quiet, and offer views of the azure waters from furnished balconies. The infinity pool appears to plunge directly into the turquoise waters of the Tyrrhenian Sea, while the private beach is equipped with a bar-restaurant and deckchairs. The buffet-restaurant serves delicious Sicilian and Italian dishes and sweet and savoury breakfasts. The hotel also boasts a spa and fitness centre.

Rooms

Enjoy the sea views from the balcony in double rooms, which are tiled, air-conditioned and equipped with a flat-screen TV. Practical and clean, they promise a serene stay.

Standard Room [30 M2]

This tiled double room is equipped with a King-size bed or twin beds and is very pleasant thanks to understated decor dotted with colourful touches. It has a balcony with sea views, flat-screen TV, mini-bar, air conditioning and a bathroom with shower.

Restaurants & bars

The hotel serves sweet and savoury buffet breakfasts in a large dining room overlooking the sea. Sicilian products are in the spotlight at lunch and dinner. Enjoy unmissable pasta dishes with tomato sauce, fried seafood, grilled whole fish, and much more. The pool and beach bars serve cocktails, ice creams, pizzas and sandwiches.

La Sciara Restaurant

Enjoy Italian and Sicilian specialities in a refined setting, admiring the sea from the large bay windows. A Sicilian dinner and a themed meal are organised each week. Options for special diets are available.

Pool bar

The bar is located close to the swimming pool and includes a number of tables and large umbrellas. Snacks, ice creams, refreshments, hot drinks and spirits are served there, to be enjoyed while admiring the sea and lush mountains.

Activities & lifestyle

Relax by the swimming pool, on the terrace, or at a table in the bar, head to the beach, or treat yourself to a massage and hammam session.

The infinity pool surrounded by deckchairs is the perfect place from which to admire the sea and wild landscapes of northern Sicily. A small pool is provided for children. The wellness area consists of a sauna, hammam, and several massage and treatment rooms. The private beach is about 3.5 kilometres away from the hotel. A free shuttle bus is on-hand to take you there. The hotel is located opposite the Aeolian Islands, which can be reached from Milazzo.

If you are travelling alone, you will be asked to pay a surcharge for a single room. This additional charge will be automatically included in your quote.
Child rates will be applied for children from 2 to 12 years old in the case where the child shares the room with two adults. If the child is travelling with just one adult, the surcharge may be applied on an adult basis. If your child or children do not fit into the age group mentioned above, the rate will be communicated to you at the time of processing your order. If the room is equipped with a bunk bed, the bed height is not suitable for children under 6 years of age.

Once your reservation has been made, you will receive a confirmation e-mail before your travel documents are sent.

Transportation

In order to best organise your time in the airport, we advise that you arrive 2 hours before boarding for a medium-haul flight, or 3 hours before boarding for a long-haul flight (more than 5 hours). Take advantage of your early arrival to pass through security and check your luggage.

You will have the opportunity to add additional luggage for a fee.
