DAY 1 - ARRIVAL IN MALTA
When you arrive, collect your hire car and drive to your hotel in Malta, where you will stay for 4 nights.
Please note that a surcharge will apply if you collect your car outside opening hours (10am-8pm). The excess waiver, additional driver and optional extras must be paid for on site.
Overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 2 - LA VALETTE - SAN ANTON
Suggested sightseeing: Valletta, the island's capital, the Upper Barrakka gardens with their exceptional panorama of the port and the Three Cities, the Palace of the Grand Masters, St. John's Co-Cathedral, a true masterpiece of Baroque art, the National Museum of Archaeology and the Manoel Theatre. You can round off your day with a visit to the botanical gardens of San Anton.

DAY 3 - MDINA - RABAT - MOSTA - DINGLI CLIFFS - TA'QALI
Suggested sightseeing: Mdina, the ancient capital in the heart of the island, perched on a rocky outcrop and encircled by ramparts, with its narrow streets lined with beautiful patrician mansions, Baroque churches, convents and palaces. The catacombs and grotto of St. Paul in Rabat, where the apostle is said to have preached the Gospel, followed by the neoclassical church of Mosta, dominated by an impressive 66 m-high dome. The cliffs of Dingli and the village of Ta'Qali, where craftsmen reveal the secrets of their work.

DAY 4 - MARSAXLOKK – THE BLUE GROTTO
Suggested sightseeing: the south of the island to discover the fishing village of Marsaxlokk, where you can photograph the "luzzu", brightly painted boats with the lucky eye on the bow; the Mamo Tower in Marsaskala, a fortified residence unique in Malta; the megalithic temples of Tarxien, Malta's largest prehistoric complex; and the Blue Grotto.

DAY 5 - MALTA – GOZO
This morning, drive to Cirkewwa in the north of the island. This is the port of embarkation for the ferry to Mgarr on the island of Gozo, which takes approximately 25 minutes. Check-in at your hotel for 3 nights.

DAY 6 - GOZO
Suggested visits in Gozo: discover the capital city of Gozo, Victoria, and its citadel, the two megalithic temples of Ggantija, or the bay of Xlendi.

Take advantage of your stay in Gozo to relax by the sea or discover the island's hinterland.

Departure by ferry from the port of Mgarr for Malta.
Drop off your vehicle at Malta airport and board your return flight.

You will spend 4 nights in Malta at the 4-star Soreda Hotel, then 3 nights in Gozo at the 4-star St Patrick Hotel (or similar).

Fuel and any parking charges.
Fines (these will be invoiced directly by the hire company).
Any optional extras, such as an additional driver, satnav, child seats or insurance, which must be paid for on site.
Collection and return of vehicles:
You must be able to present your passport.
You must present a valid driving licence and carry it with you throughout your stay.
Age requirements for car hire: 21–75 years.
Young drivers: Drivers under 25 years of age will be charged a surcharge (including VAT) per day.
Senior drivers: Drivers aged 71 or over will be charged a daily surcharge (including VAT).
Vehicles are collected and returned at Malta Airport.
A surcharge applies for collecting or returning the car outside the following hours: 10 a.m. - 08 p.m.
PLEASE NOTE: for the car hire, we must receive the full name of the driver before departure. Any change or amendment to the main driver’s name after confirmation will incur a fee. Please read all the car hire details carefully.
A credit card (not a debit card) is required to pick up the vehicle.
We recommend checking what type of card you are using before making a reservation. If you present a debit card, the car hire company may require you to purchase additional insurance. If you do not provide this, they may refuse to hand over the vehicle.
