Today, set off towards central Bali. Several stops are planned along the way to discover Bali’s iconic sites and its magnificent landscapes.
Stop in the village of Batubulan and attend a Barong dance performance. This famous dance depicts the eternal struggle between Good and Evil.
Continue on to the Tegalalang rice terraces to stroll along the rice fields and meet local farmers. You can also relive childhood memories by trying one of Bali’s famous giant swings in the middle of the rice fields (at an extra charge, payable locally).
Continue to Kintamani to admire the breathtaking views of Mount Batur and its lake. Lunch is served in a local restaurant facing the volcano.
Get back into the vehicle and head to Tirta Empul Temple. Its sacred springs are renowned for their spiritual powers of healing and purification.
End the day with a visit to Goa Gajah in Bedulu. Excavated in 1954, the “Elephant Cave”, which consists of a purification pool and several statues and carvings, was considered a place of meditation.
Return to the hotel in Seminyak at the end of the day.
