It was a totally amazing room, I got a one bed suite for $162 w/o tax. They didn't understand the Perfect Escapes benefits like late check out or hotel credit, so I had to explain to staff. -Michi, from Anaheim, United States - 9/8/2009

Best Hotel Ever!

This hotel/condo amazed me. This was the best place I've ever stayed. A bit off the strip but the no smoking policy is wonderful. I'm telling all my friends about it. Beautifully decorated. Wonderful tub in front of the windows for a night soak. Showers also were wonderful. I have traveled the world and have never felt so pampered, safe and well treated by the amazing staff. -Lynne Rutherford , from Kingston, Canada - 2/23/2009

The rooms are very large and nicely planned out with balconies and kitchens. The beds are very comfortable. The Restaurant, Simon is very good and has a nice bar and friendly staff throughout the hotel. The gym is clean and has new equipment and the spa treatment was very good also. -Janis Edwards , from Little Silver, United States - 11/20/2008

After booking through Perfect Escapes, I contacted Palms Place to let them know that we would be arriving at 9am. They told me they would do their best to get us into our room as soon as possible. And that they did. They immediately gave us a beautiful room on the 50th floor with one of the most spectacular views I have ever seen overlooking the strip. The room was much more then we expected and they could not have been more accommodating. Normal check in time is 3pm. Also, since we had a later flight, we asked for late check out, and they gave us a 1pm checkout with no problem. This hotel is one of the nicest I have stayed at. The hardwood floors with the marble flooring, with the 2 plasma TVs, made the room look very classy and modern. The staff everywhere were very friendly. It made our experience of Las Vegas one that we will never forget. -Mary Drouillard, from Belle River, Canada - 10/28/2008

Some friends and I stayed at Palms Place on our most recent trip to Vegas (October, 2008).
It's a very well kept, nicely decorated and modern hotel/condo building.
It's elegant and relatively quiet - a pretty stark contrast (in terms of activity) to the Palms Hotel and Casino. I'd say this hotel is best enjoyed by adults who don't really care for the poser scene that's common some places. It's a little off the strip (maybe a mile west) - which can be a good or bad thing - depending on your preference. I'd suggest renting a car, or at least planning to take cabs... this isn't a quick walk to the Strip, though you still feel connected to the Vegas nightlife.
There's no casino in Palms Place, but you can easily walk to the Palms (through a human habitrail) if you want to gamble, club hop, or eat at a buffet.
The pool here is pretty small and not very deep. It's an OK place to people watch, but not ideal for true swimmers or families.
Overall - 8 out of 10. -David Kovalak , from Olivette, United States - 10/16/2008

This was my second trip to Vegas and I couldn't have picked a better hotel. I have previously stayed at THEhotel at Mandalay Bay which was more expensive but the palms was equally as good. I had a studio which had a pool and strip view which was a fantastic setting at dusk and nighttime. All the facilities in the room where exactly what I had seen in the ad for the hotel. it makes a real difference having things you take for granted a fridge, cooker, kettle etc. My only gripe was the shuttle service to the strip - it wasn't frequent but then I found another service nearby and of course there are taxis. The food at the Simon was good quality - the pool was great - nice idea to have chairs and tables in the water - the weather was 105 degrees so you needed to be able to cool off. If I could have a timeshare in Vegas, this would be the spot. Excellent property and worth the price. Oh and the spa was awesome, I went during a quiet period and had it all to my self!! -Kim Davis , from london, England - 9/16/2008
