Wonderful location and property amenities (swimming pool, beach, hiking trails, surfing, golf, restaurants); Large king-bed room (#522 in South tower) with two vanities/sinks in separate areas; good shower/water pressure. However, TV needs upgrading to flat panel;
minor noise issue - unattended doors close loudly - you can hear them in the hallway if other rooms allow their doors to close on their own; No screen on balcony; and could use more umbrellas/shade at pool.

We stayed here as part of our honeymoon and could not recommend it more, the only thing that we would say is that you would be best off hiring a car as the hotel is quite isolated. The staff and facilities could not have been better and the island itself was amazing, we are already trying to book to go back.

This hotel is in a beautiful setting, but it is overpriced. The check-in folks did not recognize Perfect Escapes and we had to bring a xeroxed copy of our reservation to get breakfast buffet vouchers, our $50 room credit., etc. They were very pleasant and amenable but it was a hassle. The room had a partial gorgeous ocean view but some of the view was blocked by buildings. I do think they upgraded us- but it is hard to know because all the rooms have an ocean view. With taxes and resort fee, it is an additional $60 charge over the room fee which was $385, which seemed really excessive. We needed to be on the North Shore for family reasons, and it is the only really nice hotel to stay in there. The setting is beautiful and the people were very nice but service was very slow in the restaurants.

We were very pleased with the personnel at Turtle Bay Resort. All that we came in contact with were curteous and helpful. Our room was very out dated and dirty. I found a HUGE roach in our bathroom one night. (scared me to death!!!) We also had a problem with a missing dirty clothes bag with clothing in it that is still unresolved. I was disappointed in the $20 per day misc. charge...what is that about??? I felt kind of "nickel dimed". All that said I felt that the property is beautiful, and we loved the views from our Linia. We loved the fruit basket. Thank you!

Loved the resort. Great room, very spacious. Loved the coconut cookies at night, the coffee, and fruit breakfast. Would come back again. Beautiful grounds: fabulous pool, nice beach.

Perfect location, ocean views abound all around. Property is fun to explore and invites long walks. Hotel offers spa, recreation & fitness amenities but the service is mediocre. Spa services were middle of the road, but the Yoga was fantastic. Food was typical resort fare; quite edible but not extraordinary.
This would be a great hotel for families... you stay here for the charm of the North Shore and the stunning views!!!

- From Honolulu International Airport:
Take H1 freeway westbound and then continue on the H2 north to Wahiawa. Take 80 through Wahiawa, connecting with 99. Stay on 99 to Haleiwa. The road now bypasses Haleiwa and becomes Route 83. Continue on 83 approximately 25 minutes to Turtle Bay Resort.
