WOW. It has been 5 years or so since staying at Kea Lani, but it was awesome.
My husband and I have been twice to Kea Lani, and can't wait to go back. The service and rooms were incredibly nice, and the staff very courteous and warm. The nightlife is on the other side of the island, and that was fine by us. Early to bed was our motto. Nick's was fantastic, and for lower cost dining you can drive or ride a Harley Davidson to the other side.

For a large, sprawling property, the Fairmont Kea Lani still does an admirable job of presenting a cozy, romantic atmosphere. Our suite felt private, the ocean view was stunning, and the staff was always polite and attentive without being intrusive. We had read that the Fairmont was more quiet and less hectic than nearby resorts, probably because families were attracted to the lower costs elsewhere, and since the whole point of this trip was to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary, we were pleased that this seemed to be true. After every excursion to various parts of the island, it felt like we were home when we returned to the Fairmont.

Every member of the staff was friendly and our room was always extremely well taken care of. The restaurants were excellent and they took great pains to accommodate our daughter's food allergy. The rooms and the grounds were beautiful.

We have stayed at the Kea Lani for the past 12 years. We keep returning because of the gorgeous and magnificent views as well as the gracious and attentive staff. From Marty and Dane at the pool to Eric and Jennifer at the Main Entrance and valet, they are all so kind and willing to solve any issues that arise. The rooms are spotless and the grounds are beautiful. When people mention the word paradise, I tell them it is at the Fairmont Kea Lani, Maui!

The Fairmont in Hawaii, I found to be the most beautiful 5 star hotel I had ever stayed at in Hawaii. I have frequented Hawaii 10 to 12 times or more and have stayed at a number of their 4 and 5 star hotels, even the Grand Wailea hotel in Maui and found The Fairmont to be the top hotel in Maui. Thank you so much for having them as one of you hotels to chose from, the stay and the discount price was great. Mahalo.

Directions:
- From Kahului Airport
Exit airport terminal or car rental area onto Keolani Place. Continue straight through the intersection onto Dairy Road (Hwy 380) passing Costco and Kmart on your left. Continue on Dairy Road (Hwy 380). Turn left onto Mokulele Hwy 311 at the traffic light. Continue on Mokulele Hwy approximately 6 miles. Mokulele will turn into Piilani Hwy 31.Continue south on the Piilani Hwy 31 until the end of highway. It will veer right onto Wailea Ike Drive. Drive down toward the ocean and at the end of Wailea Ike Drive, turn left at the traffic light onto Wailea Alanui. Wailea Alanui south until you reach The Fairmont Kea Lani, Maui on the right side.

To avoid a cancellation penalty, cancel by 3pm, local hotel time, 21 days prior to scheduled date of arrival.
Well-behaved dogs weighing 20 lbs. or less from within the state of Hawaii are welcome to the resort for an additional $25 per night. Out-of-state dogs are also welcome, but must pass Hawaii State Laws regarding quarantine. All dogs must be leashed while on property and if left unattended in the suite, must be kept in a carrier. Seeing-eye dogs and other service animals are permitted without charge and without quarantine provided Hawaii state laws are met.
No additional suite charge for children 18 years and younger. Children five years and under eat for free when ordering off the keiki menu or any buffet when accompanied by an adult at Kea Lani Restaurant, Polo Beach Grille & Bar and Ko. The program includes sodas, juice, or milk. The keiki menu is also available for children ages 6 - 12 years.
