January Flickr Photo Challenge!

First off, Happy New Year!

As we ring in 2010 and celebrate the start of a new decade, winter presses on. While it seems like a new year — or a new decade — should kick off everywhere with clear blue skies and warm, golden sunshine, January of course is cold and wet or buried in sleet and snow in many corners of the globe. But winter weather, like every season, has its charms. Many of which are best captured with a camera!

If you haven’t already, Perfect Escapes is inviting you to take the plunge and join its photo pool on Flickr. Our Flickr photo pool is the place to share your perfect escapes: Posh hotel pictures, idyllic travel images, and tales detailing all of your luxury hotel experiences and adventures. Whether you visit a luxury hotel or just walk by one, post your five-star travel memories here. Each month we look for images matching a particular travel-related topic or theme that we announce right here (and on our Flickr photo pool page, too). From the new submissions we receive, one lucky photog with then have his or her image featured on next month’s Suite Life Blog Flickr photo pool post!

For our January photo challenge, we’re looking for idyllic winter wonderlands. Landscapes of snow and ice, wet and gray — make us shiver for both the wind chill factor and the sheer beauty of a place. Wherever the winter months take you, we want to see your best shots. Blow us away!
