Celebrity authors are flocking to Washington D.C. for the National Book Festival. The Library of Congress is hosting the free event, open to the public, on September 26, 2009.
Over 70 authors covering almost every genre will be in attendance to participate in events which will focus on the theme of engaging book-lovers online. Children’s, Teen, and genre areas will be set-up featuring beloved authors in each such as Judy Blume, James Patterson, Nicholas Sparks and many more.
Along with pavilions for each genre, there will also be areas for books sales, information for each state’s reading and literacy promotions, as well as interviews with the authors.
