Luxury Hotels Offer E-Readers

After a long day of business meetings, sight-seeing and socializing, sometimes all you want to do is plop into your comfy hotel bed with a good book. Unfortunately, heavy books weigh travelers down and are often forgotten among lists of more essential travel items.

Luxury hotels are adding e-readers to their list of amenities, addressing the reading desires of their guests and making a variety of titles easily accessible at any time. EPIC Miami offers them, the Algonquin Hotel Manhattan offers Kindles, as do the Gansevoort Hotels in NYC and Turks and Caicos.

Whether you feel like reading at the pool, on the roof deck, or in the club lounge, these hotels have you covered when you want to uncover a new book. While this service is still only available at a select group of hotels, the trend is taking off and we wouldn’t be surprised if e-readers become the next iPod docking stations.
