Mexico’s recent $92 million campaign to improve the country’s image seems to be working, especially when combined with some incredible travel deals. In an effort to reclaim the usually high season numbers, bountiful travel deals are being offered by most properties including luxury resorts. Mexico officials are hoping that travelers will feel confident enough to make a last minute summer booking at a Mexican destination.
Confidence is also raised as cruise ships begin returning to Mexican waters from their previously detoured routes along the Pacific coast. Travelers are drawn to the still mellow atmosphere at the resorts, which allows for better service, less line-waiting, and easier reservations that can often make any trip a hassle. However for some the lively crowds and partiers are what Mexico travel is all about, and the clubs and bars have yet to be revived to their usual scene.
