ForbesTraveler published their list of the top shopping destinations worldwide and the chosen districts really do have something for everyone. Classics such as Paris, London, Soho New York and San Francisco made the list as staples for the shopping marathoners of the world, each with vast shopping districts of high quality and diverse clothing.
Others with a more favorable exchange rate as well as more diverse offerings ranging from trinkets to technology included Bangkok, Buenos Aires, and Marrakech. You may have to fight for what you want at the right price, but these destinations offer loads of goods that are worth bargaining for.
Some of the destinations made the list for the shopping experience they provide. Shop in Tokyo among the lights and crowds, in Rome among great architecture and quaint street blocks, or the beautiful galleria shopping centers of Berlin and Sydney.
