Brown Palace Hotel Lobby

On a recent trip to Denver, I had the occasion to stay at the century old Brown Palace Hotel. Walking into the lobby, I was struck by the beauty of its architecture. The eight-story atrium exposes staircases and wrought iron grillwork before being topped by a stained-glass ceiling. I adored its charm and history, and felt more like I was in a Boston hotel than one located in the heart of Denver.

My room showed the grandeur of the hotel’s age but was modern with nice appointments. The hotel is located only a couple blocks away from the 16th Street Mall providing access to all the nightlife, restaurants and shopping one could desire. I enjoyed being able to walk to my morning meeting in downtown.

When you book a stay at The Brown Palace Hotel through Perfect Escapes, they will treat you to breakfast and provide free Internet access. There’s also a room upgrade, early check-in and late check-out based on availability.
