The Lodge and Spa at Cordillera - 3 nights plus lift tickets and meals for $273/night.
It’s winter time and if you’re like me, you are consistently checking the snow ski reports and the live ski cams in all of your favorite resorts. Mine happen to be at Kirkwood in Lake Tahoe, Snowbird in Utah, and Aspen in Colorado. But that’s just this year.
And if you’re like me, what I love about snowboarding and skiing is the apres-ski wherever it is I might be. And Vail, Colorado has one of the best. There are not too many places where you can grab a hot toddie or a hot chocolate with peppermint schnapps and sit on the deck and watch people come flying down the slopes to a halt right in front of you.
And if you’re like me, what I love next is apres-apres-ski: hot tub, good food, a nice fire, a great room, and someone with me. The Lodge and Spa at Cordillera is a luxury hotel that ranks up there with the best. And considering that Vail lift tickets cost $81 a piece and Beaver Creek cost $85, this deal works out to $100-$110 a night. Not bad for some snacks and a high quality stay.
Tip: Take advantage of the free shuttle to Beaver Creek and try out both mountains while you have the chance.
