Overview
All of our luxurious one-bedroom suites are fully furnished in modern yet comfortable sophistication. They offer fully equipped Wenge kitchens with Nespresso espresso makers, Calcutta marble countertops, and dual compartment refrigerator / wine coolers. Beautifully appointed living rooms and bedrooms feature 42-inch, wall-mounted plasma televisions, sunken bathtubs with rain-head showers, queen-sized beds and custom-made freestanding armoires. All suites overlook our secluded interior courtyard and are bordered by a terrace with sliding-glass doors, inviting plenty of South Beach sunlight.

I was expecting a high end, fabulous experience. It was not available here. The first room we were given was occupied and unkept. The room we ultimately had was not cleaned very well during our stay, the bathroom was not scrubbed and washed well. Toilet amenities were not replenished daily. I had to ask for extra bars of soap and lotion. The glasses were not washed or replaced. The floors were not vacuumed or swept daily.The kitchenette included a well stocked wine cooler, but it did not contain a basic refrigerator. The wine was old and had gone bad. We were told that we would have 2 queen beds, but instead we had to share a double bed. The walls were paper thin and we could hear the people next door. The environment was mediocre and not overly inviting or pleasant. I was pleased to meet Doug Rodriquez, the chef of Ola, the restaurant. We enjoyed the bar and appetizers.

SoBe Sanctuary

Overall we were very pleased with this hotel. We find hotel staff in SoBe usually pretty inept but these guys were on the ball, very friendly & service oriented. The room was very nice and surprisingly quiet (we were worried because our room was off the lobby but we couldn't hear a thing). Very comfy bed. Location was great.
My only criticisms -- (1) some housekeeping issues: our tub was not clean, one day our room was not made up, one of the dishes laid out for breakfast was dirty, & I don't really like how housekeeping leaves the curtain open when they are done so people can see into your room.
(2)they should stock the kitchen with dishes, utensils etc and also make space in the fridge if you wanted to put something in it instead of it just being a mini bar, the whole kitchen sort of just for decoration w/o those things. (3) could have a deal for beach chairs w/one of the hotels on the beach (4) they could have better maps to give out (5) guy at the pool taking food orders cou
