EAT
The following foods are popular in El Paso, but not necessarily recommended for everyone!
- Menudo Travelers will see signs referring to Menudo everywhere. It is a type of soup made with hominy , chile and tripe. It is a Mexican specialty.
- Salsa This is a condiment served with tacos and other dishes. If all you've ever had is that red sauce out of the jar, you haven't had salsa! There are many kinds ranging from green to brown, spicy to mild. They are made from a variety of ingredients, but some of the best to try are green tomatillo salsa and smoky-red chipotle salsa. Also, as a condiment, try some chopped cilantro leaves with your dish.
