The InterContinental does luxury class with flair, charm and warmth. This is a wonderful and elegant hotel in an excellent location. It is very clean, elegant, and staffed by smart people. Highly recommended. -Judith Gabor , from toronto, Canada - 8/31/2009

Fantastic Service and Great Hotel
 | | Overall rating: | | Value rating : | |
This is one hotel that does not disappoint - from the doorman to the desk staff as well as the great housekeepers there is nothing more you could want at a luxury hotel in a great location in Atlanta. From the minute we arrived to the moment we left with 2 bottles of Evian pressed into our hands for the drive to the airport by our smiling and charming doorman, we were treated with great courtesy and could not have asked for a better stay- This is one amazing hotel. -judith, from toronto, Canada - 8/24/2009
Nice Stay
 | | Overall rating: | | Value rating : | |
Hotel was nice and met expectations. Location was good. Nice restaurants and shopping within walking distance. Parking is a little expensive at $20 a day, but low rates can make up for it. Pool is very nice. Rooms are good. Staff are good, not great. I didn't notice any pretense, but didn't go out of the way to help either. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would stay again. -Randall Felts , from Birmingham, United States - 8/19/2009
Wonderful Stay
 | | Overall rating: | | Value rating : | |
We couldn't have had a better stay. The room rate was about half the price of normal. We got two free breakfast buffets, which were very good. As well as free champagne and chocolate strawberries made a wonderful evening. Value-wise, I have never stayed in a better hotel. It was a first-class experience for a next-to-nothing price. Tough to beat that. I would have paid double to stay there - but don't tell them that. -William, from Columbus, United States - 7/22/2009
Romantic Atmosphere With Great Service
 | | Overall rating: | | Value rating : | |
The hotel was lovely...wonderfully plush linens, large 2 person soaking tubs, roomy glass shower. We had terrific massages in the spa. The service was excellent (eg a car and driver to take you around locally and pick you up...the concierge even filled in for the driver when he was off duty to take us to a restaurant and pick us up). We were not upgraded, there was no bottle of wine or champagne. We did get the early check in (11 am) and late check out (2pm) but we probably could have gotten that just by asking. -Dave, from prairieville, United States - 5/8/2009
Lackluster
 | | Overall rating: | | Value rating : | |
Check in was a bit crazy. It took our bags 3 plus hours to get delivered to the room. Stayed on the Club level, the personnel were lackluster, not very accommodating. Our friends also stayed on the Club level and had a problem with loud music until 5am, made 2 calls to the front desk to no avail. When the music stopped at 5 the puking next door began. They left their room at 7 and asked to talk to the manager on duty, he offered them breakfast. Can you imagine, breakfast as compensation after no sleep! Needless to say, they will not be back. We will follow suit as we feel the management would not help us if there was a problem. -Lea Steinberger , from Winter Park, United States - 12/11/2008
Disappointed
 | | Overall rating: | | Value rating : | |
I have stayed at this hotel before (for a considerably higher price) and received much better service. The service staff was very pretentious. The gentleman who checked me in even asked how I received such a low rate (in a condescending manor). I felt like they gave us a room that had not been cleaned in ages. So as to what "upgrade" I received is unclear to me. Last time I walked into my room and there was a fresh flower and chocolate awaiting me. This time, bed bugs awaited me! Every morning I woke up with bites all over my body. It was really uncomfortable. On a positive note, the breakfast is great and the guy who checked me out was very understanding. The disappointment lies in the inconsistency of great service I received only a month earlier. -Jillian, from Gainesville, United States - 12/1/2008
Romantic Weekend
 | | Overall rating: | | Value rating : | |
Upon arriving I had bottle of complimentary wine (which I easily exchanged for champagne) waiting for me. Thus, it was great from the start. My bed was so comfortable I didn't even want to leave the hotel and sight see, etc. that day. Thankfully, I also had late check out at 4PM! The buffet breakfast was also pretty tasty. The only downside is $18 parking, but I expected that from a hotel of this caliber. It is great for young couples (can be noisy at night in the lobby). My boyfriend and I had a wonderful stay :) -Jillian, from Miami, United States - 10/16/2008
Weekend Getaway
 | | Overall rating: | | Value rating : | |
We spent two nights at the InterContinental Buckhead Atlanta. The hotel far surpassed our expectations for the cost. Be aware that Self Parking will cost $17.00 per night.
We stayed in a Club Level room and received excellent concierge and customer service. We spent time in the XO bar in the lobby that featured a live band on Friday night. Most restaurants are open 24 hours and we were able to have a great meal after an evening out. We would have given the hotel an overall rating of excellent but the restaurant that served breakfast was a bit disappointing. We left the restaurant and had the continental breakfast in the Club Lounge. When we are in Atlanta, this will be our first choice of accommodations. The hotel is near excellent shopping, restaurants, and nightlife. -Denise Walker , from Austell, United States - 6/6/2008
