A Grand Stay

It was all I expected and more. It had the real feel of an old southern hotel. The atmosphere was great. When we drove up to the front of the hotel it was as if they were waiting for us. They helped with the luggage and parked the car. When we walk into the lobby, jazz music could be heard coming from the lounge. This was not loud music but soothing music that made you want to sit and listen for a while. The elevator was huge, the largest I had ever seen. The story is that Teddy Roosevelt stayed here and rode his horse right into the elevator. The room was large and tastefully decorated. The robes were heavy and warm. The bed was very comfortable. The entire smell of the hotel was very nice, no unusual odors noted. The room service was excellent and the staff was very accommodating. I would highly recommend this hotel to all my friends and relatives.

Had a pleasant and enjoyable experience at the Capital Hotel. The rooms were well furnished and clean. The housekeeping staff was efficient and non intrusive. The reception I received was extremely professional and of the highest quality, from the person who opened the door to the reception desk personnel. The food and beverage staff were probably the best I have experienced, having traveled throughout the United States and overseas. Lastly the interior of the hotel was elegant with a very clean and polished look. I would highly recommend the Capital Hotel to friends and family!! In fact, I already shared my positive experience with a family member who will probably travel to Little Rock in a few months.

From Little Rock National Airport
Take I-440 West from Little Rock National Airport to I-30 East (Little Rock Downtown exit). Follow I-30 East to exit 141A (Markham & Cantrell Street) exit. When you get off the exit veer to the right and follow sign that says Convention center. Go straight 3 blocks to Louisiana Street and make Right. Go 1 block and make right on Markham Street in front of hotel. The Capital Hotel will be on your right. Valet Parking available. Approximately 15 minutes from hotel.
