The Melrose Hotel Company. Built in 1924, this historic Dallas landmark offers 184 luxury guest rooms including 21 suites and a presidential suite, each with a dramatic view of the city. Hotel was beautiful and rooms were very clean and modernized. I stayed there because it was within walking distance to the gay bars and restaurants. Hotel staff (Lynn) was very friendly and helpful, Lynn even suggested that if I wanted to return sometime that weekend that I could get the same rate that I received with Perfect Escapes. Valet staff were on top of things as well. Overall very impressed.
