Very Good Hotel

Old mansion with a very successful combination of old architecture and modern design. No grand reception area, but beautiful patio inside. Welcoming, friendly and helpful staff in particular at reception (Ms. Vargas) add to the hotel's attractions. Breakfast slightly confusing, with no indication of what's included and what's extra. Hotel is situated on a major traffic avenue but did not really bother me in the room. Some very nice restaurants in the immediate vicinity. If you want to walk around, however, you'd have to be in Zona Rosa. That's 20 min. walk-10 min. taxi from hotel, and that's about the only negative I can report.
