Visiting this 300 acre island in idyllic Ninh Van Bay, the feeling of tranquility is not an illusion. Accessible only by boat, the site of the Six Senses Hideaway Ninh Van Bay (formerly Evason Hideaway at Ana Mandara) on dramatic Ninh Van Bay is quite unique, taking full advantage of the setting. Impressive rock formations, the coral reef, white sand beach, a playful stream and the towering mountains behind, all add to the sense of being luxuriously at one with nature.
Featuring 52 airy villas, you can choose between one nestled into the lush hillside, on the beach, or among dramatic rocky outcrops. Each with their own panoramic views of the either the sea.
The restaurant opens to the environment, with screens that slide into place during inclement weather. Serving international and local favorites, plus East meets West with fusion specialties.
While there book treatments at the Six Senses spa (next to a waterfall), hike through the surrounding acres, take cooking classes (using produce from the hotel's vegetable garden and fruit grove) or a boat ride to Nha Trang's main market or other islands nearby. This is where to find the Vietnam of old, with only the occasional fishing boat anchored in the bay for company.
