This hotel is very beautiful and located right at Portage and Main within walking distance of The Forks. Walking to the hotel is tough as you have to go underground to get to it from the intersection. With homeless people sleeping in these access areas, we decided to hop barricades and run across the street instead. These same people easily came up the escalator into the lobby to look for cigarette butts -- a bit unsafe for guests I think.
I loved the unlimited Internet in the business centre at no additional charge. I tried to send items out by FedEx from the hotel but was given incorrect info by concierge and missed cut off time.
The beds, pillows and bedding were very comfortable! We had a nice view of the rivers from our window. Restaurant was very expensive so we ate at a small place just under the hotel.
Staff was friendly. Overcharged on the rate quoted but they honoured it when I realized their error. Good thing I had internet access to get my quote from this site.
