Overview
Wait till you see what we've done to Desert Springs. A resort that was always sleek and sexy is now even sleeker, even sexier, with raw energy and a cool new rhythm. The changes range form subtle to dramatic. We're creating a dramatic new lobby with a sleek mountain-view bar and an inviting sushi bar. The drive-up experience is brilliant. The spa is expanding. The attitude is upbeat. The is the rebirth of Desert Springs Resort & Spa. The cool of the desert. Now, more then ever.

Vacation Variety Value--Tops--But Little Pricey

The resort and its amenities are first class as was all the staff members that we met and spoke with during our stay. The restaurant(s)' staffs were equally friendly and very accommodating. The views from our patio were spectacular and from the back the setting sun was really something to see. If you could muzzle the geese or get rid of them it would have been a perfect setting both morning and night. If you rent a car and valet park it be ready to pay for it---fee with tips is over the top.
All considered we would return again in a heartbeat--and not rent a car this time.

A Memorable Vacation

My daughter and I were very impressed with the JW Marriott. We went there for a post Christmas get away and were really pleased with the amenities and the dedication of the staff. We did find the restaurants pricey, and did not try them out (with the exception of the on-site Starbucks), but did find excellent and economical fare nearby.
The rooms are extremely comfortable and plush with new HD televisions. Turn down service provided free bottled water in the evenings and were willing to remove garbage if necessary. All in all, we were impressed, even though we did not use the famous golf course. A highlight for us was an evening boat ride around the man made lakeways. I would definitely like to go back. -Betty, from Vancouver, Canada - 1/15/2008
