Lowes Resort the Lakes Las Vegas

We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel and grounds were beautiful. Our only criticism would be they needed to replace the carpet in our room - badly stained. -Fred, from Murrieta, United States - 5/8/2008

Loving Lake Las Vegas
 | | Overall rating: | | Value rating : | |
Hard to overstate what a terrific place this is. The hotel and grounds are beautiful. A completely different experience from the Bellagio and Wynn, which are where my wife and I have stayed in the past - but every bit as nice. In fact, I prefer being away from the sleeze-factor of the strip, and probably will stay at Loews from now on. We also checked out the Ritz down the street, and felt that Loews was the nicer of the two properties. We took our kids for 4 days and 3 nights, and they seemed to like this as much as they like Wailea last year and Cabo the year before. The pools, waterslide, beach, boat rentals, and other amenities were first class and plentiful enough to keep everyone happy. Having something like this within a day's drive of home in the snowy mountains of Utah is an unexpected treat. We will be back - regularly. -Todd Wakefield , from Salt Lake City, United States - 4/14/2008
Good As It Gets

This is a great resort. Makes you think you're in Hawaii and yet you can be on the strip in 20 minutes. I was very impressed with everything, rooms, staff, food, grounds and you can't get a much better view. I am delighted we found "Perfect Escapes" and this resort. -Rita Murry , from Grand Prairie, United States - 4/12/2008
Not a Typical Vegas Property

This hotel is incredible! You can get away from the strip and feel like you are on a Hawaiian Island in a short 30 minute drive. Everything about this property is superb. The staff was very accommodating and pleasant. We will definitely go back! -James Kennedy , from Irving, United States - 4/11/2008

The room, the friendly service, the restaurant & the ambiance were outstanding. If you're into gambling, though, there's none in the hotel. You have to go down the road. -Beverly Ridgway , from Irving, United States - 4/11/2008
Beyond Our Expectations...
 | | Overall rating: | | Value rating : | |
We loved everything about the hotel. It was clean and the staff was very helpful when we needed it. We usually take our young children on our trips but this time it was adults only. The hotel was perfect for both, to get away for some relaxation with adult friends without feeling like children were all over the place or if you had children it was great too because of the way it is set up. We would definitely bring our kids with us. I felt it was a jewel in Las Vegas, away from the strip but close enough to drive to, to get that experience as well. I was surprised most by the outdoor furniture for lounging in the evening you would have to go and stay there to check it out. We travel a lot to great hotels and I would highly recommend the resort. -Soun Moffett , from University Place, United States - 3/31/2008

Fleas in the Room!!
 | | Overall rating: | | Value rating : | |
I could not believe that we had fleas in our room. I am a pet lover myself and I own 2 German Shepherds and I understand and appreciate the fact that they allow pets in the hotel. It's the hotels responsibility to make sure that the rooms are properly disinfected before the next guest arrives. -Carlos Robles , from Bonita, United States - 3/26/2008

Great Stay
 | | Overall rating: | | Value rating : | |
THE HOTEL WAS GREAT. My Family had a great time in the kids pool, the slide was a real hit. The only down side I had was the poolside food. It took 90 minutes to get our grilled cheese and peanut butter sandwiches. with exception of that it was great. I would recommend it and definitely would stay their again. -Chris Ferguson , from Rexburg, United States - 3/24/2008
Great Place to Retreat to

This hotel has it all and is a great place to go to get away, yet be close enough to the Strip for an evening out. Good food, good location, good pools and activities and the scenery is terrific. All the staff is friendly and helpful. We couldn't have found a better place to spend a weekend away. -Candice Mullendore , from Bellevue, United States - 2/28/2008

This was actually our second stay at Loews. We stayed in November and got a great rate from the Loews website. Could not get that rate again so went with Perfect Escapes which included 2 free breakfasts every day. The choices available for breakfast were all delicious and included wonderful fruit bowls, filled with fresh bananas, raspberries, blueberries, blackberries, strawberries, pineapple and cantaloupe. The breakfasts really were a great deal! Hotel staff are all very courteous and friendly. Every hotel worker acknowledges you when they see you, the housekeepers are wonderful too. We brought our dog with us both times we traveled, and Loews provided bowls and cookies for the dog. We had a room facing the Lake on the ground floor and really enjoyed sitting out on our patio every morning reading the paper. The scenery is beautiful and very quiet surroundings. The outside bar/lounge area is fantastic, we loved sitting around the fires outside. -Kenneth Tice, from Palmer, United States - 2/22/2008
Best Stay in Vegas

The Loews and Monte Lago is the only destination in Vegas. Away from the strip but still accessible. Hotel is exceptional, particularly if you get the third night free. Complimentary breakfast is an unlimited choice on the menu....the Monte Lago casino is small but the payback is the best in Vegas.... golf a little expensive but the courses are great. First class hotel, great room. great views. I guess I was really pleased. -John Ewen , from elkton, United States - 2/20/2008

My husband and I were amazed at the fabulous service we received last week. Every employee went out of their way to provide 5-star service in every area of the hotel. Our room was simply gorgeous. Our view was amazing. We faced the lake, mountains and golf course. We ate breakfast in the hotel all 3 mornings and it was very good. The hotel was Moroccan-inspired throughout. The multi-level areas both inside and out provided a lot of privacy when we were relaxing at times. The landscaping was fabulous as well! The amenities offered were vast as well. -Nancy, from Plantation, United States - 1/22/2008

The Loews Lake Las Vegas Resort has been a favorite destination of ours for the last 5 yrs, when the Loews was a Hyatt. We fell in love with the resort then, and now that Loews has taken over, it is only better! The Service is great. The staff remembers our names every time we return. We are treated like old friends. It's like home away form home! The location is beautiful. The spa services are amazing and you can't play better golf courses anywhere. The resort is close enough to the strip and other casinos that you can get the "Vegas" feel when ever you want without having to deal with the maddening crowds. We Love it more everytime we come back. -Michael, from New York , United States - 1/8/2008
