New condition, helpful staff, location less than ideal. Convenient to have Whole Foods on location. Tulla Bella restaurant was good. Walked a lot to get to core. Ideal for Seattle Science ctr, Space Needle visits. -Darrell Ittermann , from calgary, Canada - 8/3/2009

Great Stay
 | | Overall rating: | | Value rating : | |
We had a great time at this property. The staff was exceptional. They provided accurate directions, good recommendations for dining options and also offered to give us the view we wanted from our room. The room was very nice as well. Valet service is well worth it! Highly recommend staying here. -Schneider Jason , from richmond, Canada - 11/16/2008
Pan Pacific Is Great!
 | | Overall rating: | | Value rating : | |
This is pretty much what you should expect from a lower-end luxury hotel. Beautiful lobby, kind and helpful service, wonderfully designed and comfortable rooms. The service staff stays out of your way (which I personally like. I'm not paying for ass kissing--I'm paying to relax and enjoy myself) but there if you need them. -Brian Bicknell , from San Jose USA, United States - 10/30/2008
New and Nice

A new hotel a few blocks away from anything, no breakfast room or restaurant.
The hotel itself is very nice. -David, from Vancouver, Canada - 10/24/2008

Nice Place to Stay
 | | Overall rating: | | Value rating : | |
We stayed here for 1 night after a cruise. We were impressed with the hotel upon arrival. We also liked the way the room was decorated. The only drawback was the noise level. I could hear other hotel doors slamming and people in the hall talking loudly (drunken wedding party). Could also hear outside traffic noise inside the room. If you don't mind walking it is close to everything. Starbucks is attached to the hotel and there is a nice Neapolitan pizza restaurant also on site, as well as the Whole Foods store below. Parking is expensive but it is for all of Seattle. -Stephen, from Indiana, United States - 9/21/2008
Great Room, Middle Location
 | | Overall rating: | | Value rating : | |
The Pan Pacific has very luxurious rooms and service. The location is in the middle but it may be a little too in the middle. Once Seattle gets its new trolley line totally operational they will have an excellent location for all of downtown, but it was well worth the price and the service was outstanding. -Jesse, from Austin, United States - 9/16/2008

Rave Review

Hotel management very professional. Vida Spa within hotel is excellent. The "Bar" restaurant's bartender makes an exceptional martini. Overall, highly recommended. -James, from Mercer Island, United States - 7/29/2008
Wonderful Hotel
 | | Overall rating: | | Value rating : | |
My husband and I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights while we visited Seattle. It is a wonderful hotel sort of hidden from the main roads. The staff were very friendly and professional. The hotel was nicely decorated in clean modern style with some Asian influence. Our room had a wonderful soaking tub and a rain-shower shower head. The room was very clean. The bed and linens were soft and comfortable. We could see Lake Union (and Space Needle if we stand really close to the window) from our room.
It is about 15 minutes walk from Pike Street Market and 10 minutes walk from the Space Needle. We walked to the Pike Street Market everyday to get coffee, pastry and fresh fruits. Starbucks and a spa were just a few steps away. Whole Foods Market was right below/behind the hotel.
This is a wonderful hotel in a very convenient location. We got a really good rate from Perfect Escapes. We would definitely stay here again when we visit Seattle.

I Would Definitely Stay Here Again.

I got an upgraded room but it's on the 3rd floor facing Denny St. which is a major thoroughfare. I asked to be moved to a quieter area & they did but they had to downgrade my room. I think they comp. my parking to compensate. Parking in downtown Seattle is expensive like any major city ($28 for valet/$30 for self-parking). I raved to some local friends about the hotel. Unfortunately, they screwed up my wake-up call on my last morning when I wanted to sleep in. I asked for a 9:15 wake-up call instead the automated service jolted me at 7:15! I couldn't go back to sleep anymore & I was up till 2am the night before. Location is ideal. 10 minutes walk to downtown Seattle or you can take the trolley. And having Whole Foods 1 street level down is so perfect! I think they're short-staffed at the front desk. I couldn't get hold of anyone on Saturday morning & my friend couldn't call in. If it weren't for the downgraded room & the botched wake-up call I would rate this hotel a 5! -Malou Carreon , from Burlingame, United States - 6/5/2008

The Seattle Pan Pacific is a rising star in the downtown luxury hotel scene. A few blocks away from the central core it gives you a bit of a hiatus from the hustle and bustle. -George, from Vancouver, Canada - 5/23/2008
