Nice Property

We stayed one night at this resort because we were attending an event there.
Room was very nice and spacious, we had a nice view of the mountain. Bed was comfortable, nice-sized bathroom... it was all good.
Nice amenities at the hotel: a very nice restaurant (Atwater), a nice bar, and a great store with a deli.
I would say the only thing that was a bit annoying was that it was loud in the hallway early in the morning with skiers walking by the room and not taking into consideration that non-skiers may still be in bed! But that's not really the hotel's problem.
Would stay here again.

We love staying at the Vail Cascade. They have completed renovations on the property including pools and air conditioning in the rooms which is not typical for mountain hotels. This is very nice because it can get very stuffy in the room in the summer and fall.

Hotel just came out of a major renovation and looks brand new. Back deck with new pool, Jacuzzi and fire pits are a plus and very nice and relaxing. New restaurant Atwater is very inviting, with 2 menus- a full dining menu as well as a casual style menu. Kids could eat there but I would recommend the Market cafe that has pizzas. Best ski lift access in town. Easy to get on and off the mountain. Overall experience was very nice. I would recommend this to families as well as couples.

- From DIA
Take I-70 West. Exit 176 (main Vail). At end of ramp, enter roundabout and go to the left under the Interstate. Enter the 2nd roundabout and turn right onto South Frontage Road (toward Lionshead). The resort is approximately 1.5 miles on the left.
- From Eagle County Airport
Take I-70 East for approximately 40 minutes. Exit 173 (West Vail). Enter roundabout and follow signs to South Frontage Road/Vail Village/Lionshead. The resort is located one mile on the right.
