My recent stay at the Hyatt Regency (Reunion Center) was on the weekend of the Texas-OU football game. It was fun being in Dallas with all the fans cheering for their favorite team.
The only concern I had was not getting the room I was promised (and paid for) which was on the concierge level. I made the reservations on-line and had to pay for the room in advance. The front desk provided a coupon for $50 to eat at any of the restaurants in the hotel, in lieu of the concierge level room. However, I had to ask the front desk why we were given a coupon for $50 when everything on the menus was more than $13, and there are five in our family. This was extremely disappointing as we had planned to just relax in the morning, but instead we rushed getting ready to checkout. The front desk did pay for the difference between the coupon and the actual price of the meal - $32 - while we left the gratuity. This was an unpleasant experience for which we paid $320 for the one night.
