Elegant- Don't Go on Club Night Unless You Are in
 | | Overall rating: | | Value rating : | |
Nice. Smaller room but quite elegant and beautiful bathroom. We arrived on a Friday after 8 p.m. however, and because of 'club night' the staff was quite occupied with this project, so our plan for a quiet dinner in the restaurant was rerouted, as the restaurant closed early, and we were offered a small table between the bar and the hallway, and an appetizer menu. Although the food was 5 star, and the staff was apologetic and scarce. The forty dollar credit towards breakfast, left us with a bill for 25.00 somehow, although we each had one breakfast entree, juice and coffee. -Bonnie, from Schenectady, United States - 10/6/2009

Hey we had a great time, our friends also stayed here and liked it just as much as we did. We will use this hotel for when we come to Providence for plays, nights out and don't want to drive back to Jamestown. Thanks again. -Gregory Welch , from Jamestown, United States - 6/25/2009

It's really well preserved and arranged in its original style with all the modern amenities. Rooms are large and have delicious beds and bedding, original pictures hanging on the walls, and fancy amenities in large bathrooms. Restaurant is the best in decor, service and luxury.
Service is impecable very warm and personal. It's very expensive but really worth the price.
Valet and reception personal at day time were very nice and attentive, at night they only keep one person in the lobby and he was not very friendly or attentive, and needed help at midnight when a tired guest arrived, needed to get our extensive luggage and take care of valet at the same time. -Antonio Jr. Cardenas , from Coatzacoalcos, Mexico - 6/23/2009

Hotel needs sound proofing. Stayed a Saturday night and heard lots of noise (singing, yelling, fighting) as the bars let out. The bells from the church next door start at 8:00 a.m. and every 15 minutes after. -Donald Raymond , from South Dennis, United States - 2/16/2009
