Courteous attentive staff, well appointed room, but with NYC of this time period on the small side. -Jerald Goldman , from Natick, United States - 11/19/2009

Excellent Accommodations, Affordable Price!

I booked a night at The Iroquois as part of a Christmas gift (along with tickets to Lion King on Broadway) for my fiance, and we couldn't have been happier. The room was extremely comfortable, spacious and clean. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful, especially with my inquiry about the possibility of a late check-out. The shower quite large, and the whole room was in immaculate condition when we arrived. All this, and the room cost just half the rate of some of the comparable hotels in the area! We would gladly stay at The Iroquois again. -Justin Hansen , from Burlington, United States - 4/22/2009
Great Service, Aged Infrastructure
 | | Overall rating: | | Value rating : | |
The good: The service and amenities were wonderful. Great shower, excellent location, and very comfortable bed. Very responsive staff, nice breakfast room.
But: Room was incredibly small, the path between the bed and chest of drawers JUST accommodated my 14" wheeled tote. The toilet was broken, the main elevator was out of service. There were inadequate electric plugs. Lobby was undergoing renovation (no notice of this had been provided).
The Iroquois is fun because of its location and unique atmosphere, but I would not have tolerated the above problems in a standard Holiday Inn or less expensive property. -Roberta, from Washington, United States - 3/14/2009
Boutique Comfort

Staff was uniformly pleasant and knowledgeable; convenient location to theaters and Grand Central; room was quiet (loved the dark shades + blinds). Enjoyed both continental and full breakfasts and they were excellent. Coffee in lobby in the morning was another plus. -Mary & J, from Alexandria , United States - 2/5/2009

Iroquois Is Great for Grown Ups!
 | | Overall rating: | | Value rating : | |
We loved staying here. The bed was amazing. The bathroom is roomy and besides the view, which was minimal, it was great. VERY centrally located to 5th Ave and Broadway and really everything. The staff was very friendly. We did not eat at the restaurants but the greatest little coffee shop is literally 4 doors down and you can have breakfast for about 20 bucks. Lunch, too. The Red Flame is the name of the diner. The rooms are not huge but in NY it was pretty typical. I thought it was a great place- pricey but GOOD so you don't feel robbed. I would not even consider taking a kid there to be honest. -Laura Loe , from Richmond, United States - 12/11/2008
Iroquois, New York
 | | Overall rating: | | Value rating : | |
A comfortable, intimate New York City hotel a block or two away from Times Square and all that NYC has to offer. You can walk to everything. If you are going to a Broadway show, Radio City or museums this is a great place to stay. The staff were helpful and got us a great reservation for a romantic dinner. The only drawbacks are the room and shower were very small. We enjoyed our stay. -Bess Robblee, from Antrim, United States - 10/24/2008
Nice Hotel in Great Location
 | | Overall rating: | | Value rating : | |
Stayed in the hotel for 3 nights, excellent location with proximity to Times Square and 5th Avenue and subway stops. Staff was very friendly and helpful, down to the porter who gave us a great restaurant recommendation. Rooms were clean and well maintained, the only thing was that the room was tiny - we got the deluxe so it would be more spacious but it was a lot smaller than what was shown on the hotel's website. -Maria, from London, England - 10/16/2008
Broadway Getaway

The room was cramped and the bathroom was dirty. The toilet bowl was either dirty or had stains and there was hair & dust at base of toilet & sink pedestal. The bed was comfortable as well as the bedding. Nice LG TV. Friendly staff. -Nancy, from Chester, United States - 9/26/2008
Recent Stay
 | | Overall rating: | | Value rating : | |
My recent two-night stay at the Iroquois was generally very good. I was upgraded to a suite and found the rooms to be very stylish and comfortable. The only negative was the lack of internet service the first night. That was corrected by the following day. I would recommend this hotel for business travelers looking for good value and attentive service. -Robert Santoski , from Houston, TX, United States - 7/7/2008
