Labor Day Weekend Vacation in NYC

We arrived early from the airport around 9:45 am and we were able to check in right away to a an upgrade, it was a great way to start our vacation! The country restaurant staff were very kind and the concierge was very helpful with information and directions to events. We really enjoyed our stay and the ambiance of the room. I would recommend it to others and would go back. The only minor thing missing was our welcome amenity in our room. Once I pointed this out, the front desk had it brought up within 2 hours.

Great for the Price

Pro: Room was big for NYC, perfectly located, great room. Con: The bathroom was not as great as the room, old-fashioned and small, check in problem, the guy was rude, unprofessional and didn't know Perfect Escapes. This hotel is great a spot.

A Tad Old World

Smallish but well-appointed rooms; no gym or spa; decent restaurant and bar. You'll be comfortable enough in this affordable NYC hotel, just don't expect views or a lot of staff attention. It's a good base from which to explore NY or just use as a local getaway. I had a 1-night stay so there's not much else I can say.
