Gracious staff, excellent room decor and bed comfort. Pretty setting on rooftop, though unfortunately most of it was closed for a private function. No view but they provide key to coveted private park across street when asked.

Absolutely quiet and charming place, very good Rose Bar, amazing decor, good service. But sad and poor breakfast, and restaurant average quality.

Directions:
From John F Kennedy International Airport, it is 16 miles southwest to the property.
Exit airport and follow the signs for the Van Wyck Expressway I-678 North. Merge onto I-678 and continue northbound. Follow the signs for the Long Island Expressway Lie I-495 West. Get off at exit 12-B. Merge onto I-478 West Lie. Follow signs for the Queens Midtown Tunnel - Manhattan. Bear right onto the off ramp, pay toll, and continue through the tunnel. Take the Downtown - 34th Street exit go right onto 34th Street. Then make a left onto Lexington Avenue. The hotel entrance is on Lexington between 22nd and 21st Streets on the right.
