Many descriptions come to mind as I reflect on my adventure at "the last best place," Paws Up Ranch in Greenough, Montana.
One stellar feature that was immediately recognizable was the quality and respect of the overall environmental concerns of this beautiful landscape. "Leave it as you found it," was instilled in my mind from the very first sight of the place. Yet, it made me feel very comforted in knowing that the owner(s) cared abundantly for this sprawling and gracious land and for the original inhabitants of it, the native animals. This was very impressive indeed and all done seamlessly with the operation of a luxurious 5 STAR hotel. I feel that Paws Up Ranch should be recognized globally for their efforts in conservation of such a large volume of land (many thousands of acres). An enormous responsibility has been bestowed upon the Paws Up owners and they have obviously welcomed and thrived along with the land for what I feel will be a long and endearing relation.
