Air Conditioner
 | | Overall rating: | | Value rating : | |
The hotel and the rooms were very nice and clean. This is the reason we recently tried staying here three times. Unfortunately we will not be able to stay again due to the rooms getting very hot at night. One night the air conditioner did not work at all and they were not able to fix it. They have controlled air conditioners set at 65 degrees that get way hotter than that. They start off just fine but after a few hours they stop turning on as often and it gets really hot. It's much too uncomfortable for people who like their room cool while sleeping. Also there is construction going on throughout most of the hotel. -Tracy, from Bethany Connecticut , United States - 9/14/2009
Excellent Hotel-Mediocre Continental Breakfast
 | | Overall rating: | | Value rating : | |
I loved staying in this hotel; only complaint is the continental breakfast, included in the room rate, did not quite reflect the high standards of the hotel. Specifically, I would suggest providing fresh bagels and pastries. -Andrea, from St. Louis, United States - 8/10/2009
Clean, Comfortable and Accommodating
 | | Overall rating: | | Value rating : | |
The Beechwood Hotel provides a very clean, quiet, relaxing environment with a staff that is very professional and accommodating. I would recommend this hotel to friends and family looking to stay in the Worcester area. It was a great hotel that provided a great nights sleep in a very comfortable bed with very nice pillows. The staff was friendly. I'm looking forward to returning there. -Laura, from ME, United States - 8/1/2009
Construction

The only problem was the construction that began before 7AM. -Robert Gelein , from Rochester, United States - 7/20/2009
Erratic Air Conditioning Room 410
 | | Overall rating: | | Value rating : | |
The hotel was more than satisfactory in every respect except air conditioning. A/C was quite erratic and noisy. It would go from quite cool to quite warm. Needs attention. -Janet Gelein , from Rochester, United States - 7/20/2009
Weekend in Worcester

Great location, clean and comfortable accommodations and hospitable staff. Would stay here again and recommend to others for business or leisure. Did not use on-site restaurant. -Kevin, from North Weymouth, United States - 6/11/2009
Great Stay
 | | Overall rating: | | Value rating : | |
We enjoyed our 1 night. We were in town for NEIRA and waited until the last minute to book. The rate dropped from $270 to $164/night! There was a high school prom at the hotel the night we stayed but there was zero noise in our room (in the circular tower) so it was no problem. If you are in Worcester, check out the Sole Proprietor for dinner. -Katherine Russell , from Takoma Park, United States - 5/28/2009
Business Trip

Upon arrival, I walked into the hotel, and found my way to the front desk. The person at the desk did not greet me, she just looked up at me. She wasn't rude, but a hello would have been appreciated after a long, unfamiliar drive. Also, because I am not familiar with the area, it would have been helpful if the people at the front desk offered information about the area. I was very happy with my room when I checked in. After checking in, I went back down to the lobby to see if I could find the location of the conference I would be attending the next morning. I went up to the people talking at the front desk, and asked about the location and was given the information. The next day, Monday, the staff was more attentive, and a manager was walking around making sure the conference was running smoothly. The lunch service was very organized. The food was great. I would only suggest that the front desk staff be more welcoming and informative. -Judy, from Block Island, United States - 5/11/2009

Went to a show at the Hanover and stayed at the Beechwood. Can't imagine a cleaner or more friendly hotel in the Worcester area. Would stay again.
Try the Tapas Bar Bocado's. Excellent. -Michael Odonnell , from Portsmouth, United States - 12/20/2008
Nicest Place to Stay in Worcester Area!
 | | Overall rating: | | Value rating : | |
We've stayed at several hotels in the Worcester area and have been extremely disappointed, this stay at Beechwood has by far been the most pleasant stay in all ways. The room was beautifully decorated, very spacious, fresh and clean with no lingering odors. The heating & cooling system worked very well and we liked the continuous fan option. It was very quiet and the staff courteous and attentive. We ordered breakfast in each morning and it was very good and exactly what we ordered. We will definitely stay at Beechwood again! -Kathleen, from Mechanicsburg, United States - 10/2/2008
Restaurant

We were not impressed with the restaurant for dinner. We had the complimentary breakfast and found it offensive to be asked for a tip at a buffet where we served ourselves. That is a little over the top. -Linda A. Colson, from Stone Harbor, United States - 5/23/2008
