Nice Hotel, Bad Room.

We had a wonderful time at this resort. I loved the family feel and yet it is very sophisticated as well. The food was great, we especially enjoyed the "Eleven" restaurant for dinner, fabulous! Our only complaint would be the location of our room. We had a "special" rate which left us albeit a very nice room, but with a view of the parking lot out one window and the highway out the other. We stayed again the next weekend, and I requested a room with something to look at other than asphalt. She assured me we had a better room this time. We didn't. Again concrete as far as we could see. I was a little disappointed, considering we stayed 2 weekends in a row, that we could not get at least a little bit of grassy view. The room location we were given was terrible, twice. But the hotel in general is very nice. I would not stay again without assurance of not looking at the highway again.

On our arrival to the hotel we where very surprised about how clean and tidy the resort was, it was immaculate, the staff were fantastic and unbelievably friendly, nothing was too much trouble. The pools were amazing and the view at the pool on the 11th floor was outstanding. The golf course was kept to the highest standard and the amenities were top draw. I must say to everyone, go and try the sushi, I couldn't stand fish but chef Micheal asked me to try it and I must say it was delicious, he is a top class sushi chef and I will never taste anything quite as good again. I would recommend this resort to anybody as I assure you, you will not be disappointed. Thanks to everyone at the Ginn Reunion Resort for the most fantastic resort and holiday we have ever had.
