I was not terribly impressed, reminded me of a Las Vegas hotel, not as classy as the Westin St. Francis by any means but thought I would try something different on this trip, will know better next time.

Hotel was clean although bathroom was slightly old. Bed was comfortable and service was quite good. Location was closer to the pier and it is central to all public transport including cable car and subway.

We upgraded to a suite and it was a very nice room. The staff was very friendly and they comped us breakfast because the TV in the bedroom didn't work. Very nice hotel, we will go back.

Embarcadero Escape

Conveniently located, with ferry, Bart and cable car termini within steps of the entrances. Concierge service was impeccable, with a bar that was pleasant with the usual wait for room readiness. Balcony room is a must, with bay views and breezes. Housekeeping is a ever challenging service, but no major faux pas. Overall a nice, newer hotel, lacking the history of some of other flagship SF hotels, but that can be a plus, too. Will stay again.

The service in the hotel was excellent and very relaxing, and the location is good, near most places to visit, you can take the public transportation to go everywhere. I'll come back.

The Service here was excellent. The view from the 17th floor was spectacular! The weekend Farmer's Market across from the hotel is a great thing to check out.

Take Hwy 101 North, follow signs to Bay Bridge. Before you cross the Bay Bridge, take 7th St. exit. Turn left on 7th St. Turn right on Market St. Continue 1 mile and turn left on Drumm St. Hotel is on the corner of Market St. and Drumm St.
OR
Take Hwy 280 North until it turns into King St. Continue on King St. and turn left at 3rd St. Continue on 3rd St. across Market St., where 3rd St. turns into Kearny St. Turn right on California St. Turn left on Drumm St. Hotel is on the corner of Market St. and Drumm St.

Lorries Shuttle: Operates 4:30am-11pm,7 days a week. Door to door service between SFO Airport and Hyatt. Price is $14 one way per person.
Super Shuttle:
Operates 24 hrs/7 days a week. Door to door service between San Francisco and the SFO Airport. Price is $15 one way.
BART:
$5.15 each way - Exit at Embarcadero from San Francisco International Airport: Any San Francisco bound (northbound) train will stop at "Embarcadero Station". Hotel is located directly outside the station. Trains available every 15 - 20 minutes Mon to Fri - 4am to midnight; Saturday - 6am to midnight; Sunday - 8am to midnight
Bay Porter:
Price $26 for 1st person and $12 for each additional person.
Hours: 3am to 10pm
Taxi: $35 - $45.
FROM OAKLAND AIRPORT:
City Express 510-638-8830, Reservations are requireds. $28 for the first person and $10 for each additional person.
