Responding to the site's natural elements - an environment of sun, ocean, sky, and sand at water's edge on Pacific Beach, a Boardwalk alive with energy set against crashing ocean waves ... a lifestyle rich with people at play, architect Graham Downes sought to design a building that would capture this dynamic.

Directions:
From the San Diego Airport to TOWER23 Hotel:
* When exiting the airport follow signs for I-5 North.
* Take I-5 North to Exit number 23 which is the Grand/Garnet Exit.
* At the first stop light make a Left onto Grand Avenue. Follow Grand Avenue approximately 2.5 miles until you reach Mission Blvd.
* Make a Right onto Mission Blvd. and follow North 3 blocks to Felspar Street.
* Make a Left onto Felspar Street and the hotel will be on your left side.
* Follow signs to the Valet parking entrance.
From The Los Angeles Area:
* Take I-5 South to Exit number 23 which is the Balboa/Garnet exit.
* At the end of the exit ramp continue straight to the third stop light and make a Right onto Garnet Avenue. (There will be a Mobil station on your right side).
* Follow Garnet Avenue approximately 2.5 miles to Mission Blvd.
* Make a Right onto Mission Blvd. and follow North for 1 block to Felspar Street.
* Make a Left onto Felspar Street and the hotel will be on your left side.
* Follow signs to the Valet parking entrance.
From the Phoenix/Scottsdale Area:
* Take I-8 West to the I-5 North.
* Take I-5 North to Exit number 23 which is the Grand/Garnet Exit.
* At the first stop light make a Left onto Grand Avenue.
* Follow Grand Avenue approximately 2.5 miles until you reach Mission Blvd.
* Make a Right onto Mission Blvd. and follow North 3 blocks to Felspar Street.
