Overview
Paying tribute to the original flavor of its classic mid-century design, Hotel Valley Ho reopened in December. Originally a hideaway for Hollywood's elite, this downtown Scottsdale urban resort once again features rooms with all-glass walls opening onto airy patios. New enhancements include the VH Spa for workouts overlooking the pool, music and massage in private cabanas, and dining at Cafe ZuZu, Trader Vic's, and the poolside Oh Pool Bar + Cabanas.

We wanted a hotel close to Scottsdale shopping and the Desert Botanical Gardens. Valley Ho met our needs very well. -David, from Canon City, United States - 4/14/2009
The Best Hotel Yet!

When I am doing business, it's generally on the road which allows me to stay in a number of incredible hotels. I am picky and my expectations high. Generally, in terms of service and attention, I have found that not many can hold a candle to Ritz Carlton Service. Well, The Hotel Valley Ho can. Although an entirely different style of hotel, the staff was pretty incredible from check in, room service, we loved every minute of the place. It was hard to leave. I even paid attention to the name of the woman who checked us in and made sure we were happy. Tanja. She put us in a beautiful room and acted as if she'd known us forever. Keep up the good work. We also had the pleasure of having a couple of drinks at the other property "The Sanctuary." Although it was busy, those bartenders (Mika) were not bartenders at all. They were creating some of the best drinks we've ever had and were amazingly knowledgeable about every liquor they had on the shelf. We will definitely be back to BOTH propertie -Tacy Gaede , from San Francisco, United States - 3/5/2009
Relive the Brat Pack Lifestyle!

If you want to come to a hotel that somehow makes you feel important without flash and glitz... this is the place. The location is very near the heart of Old Town Scottsdale yet tucked away to give a sensation of exclusivity. The rooms are well laid out with good features and plenty of lighting. The renovation did not attempt to over do it, the upgrades are perfect for the architecture. The staff was friendly and courteous in a genuine way. Everyone I dealt with was sincere. There is a feeling of 'modern-retro' that took me by surprise. I plan on staying here again. -Coy McDaniel , from Oakland, United States - 1/6/2009
Hotel Valley Ho Is Quite Charming

This hotel personifies understated elegance and hipster cool. Very nice accommodations, without being pretentious. Service from bartenders was spotty during my stay, but that is a kink they can certainly work out. Pool scene is awesome. I wish I had tried the spa, but there wasn't time. The bathtub and shower in the room were fantastic. Fun decor and interesting details (what hotel provides a "Slinky" to play with?!). Very close walk to downtown Scottsdale and helpful hotel staff. I will stay here again! -Lysa Hill , from Carnelian Bay, United States - 3/25/2008
