Overview
Situated on a six landscaped acres in downtown Santa Fe, La Posada de Santa Fe is a luxury resort and spa with 157 adobe-style rooms. Southwestern charm and new world luxuries bestow an atmosphere of elegance and comfort on this historic retreat.
Built in the late 1800s and recently restored to its original Victorian ambiance, the Staab House boasts a cozy lounge and salon. Fuego, the gourmet restaurant, provides an innovative contemporary menu. Unique to La Posada is the Avanyu spa, which offers distinctively Southwestern treatments, a fitness center and salon, and a million-dollar art collection supplied by local galleries and displayed throughout the resort.
La Posada has a $15 daily resort fee, which includes most resort activities, access to the Avanyu spa and use of the fitness room, and local area shuttle. Resort activities vary each month; call for current activities.

La Posada de Santa Fe is a lovely hotel that is on the eastern fringe of the Santa Fe Plaza area and within walking distance of Canyon Road galleries and restaurants. This expansive site houses its guests in a sprawling series of small adobe casitas, some with patios. The pool area is very small and is adjacent to a full service spa. The hotel is anchored by the historic Staab House which serves as the reception area, contains the restaurant and bar, several stunning common areas and a few rooms for guests upstairs. I enjoyed my stay, and though the staff was welcoming and helpful, service was slow and occasionally basic requests were ignored. I would expect more from a "luxury" hotel. For this reason, I cannot, in good conscience, give La Posada a 4 star rating.

Great hotel. Individual, exceptionally decorated rooms which are all different. Great bar and dining. Service was very exceptional.

La Posada Santa Fe

Our stay at La Posada was one of the nicest vacations in Santa Fe that we have experienced. The grounds and room were in immaculate condition--we had reserved a patio room. It was quiet and very private off of a larger courtyard. However nice the accommodations were, the La Posada staff was even more accommodating and gracious. From the receptionist at the check-in desk to the valet and the shuttle driver, all were professional and very friendly. Our only glitch was that we would have liked their room service to operate later than 10pm. Other than that, our stay was wonderful.

Take I-25 North exit 282a/ St. Francis drive and turn right. Proceed north and turn right on Paseo de Peralta. Turn right on to Palace Avenue. La Posada Resort is on the right side of the street.
From Santa Fe Municipal Airport
Turn right onto Airport Road. At first light turn left onto Highway 599. Take Santa Fe south exit which merges into Highway 84/285. At third light turn left onto West Alameda. Fourth light turn left onto Paseo de Peralta. First light right on Palace Ave. La Posada will be immediately on your right.

Avanyu Spa at La Posada de Santa Fe:
The spa includes a treatment area featuring 5 massage rooms, 2 facial rooms and one spa wet room/cabana roof top for side by side or single massage. The beauty salon offers complete hair and nail treatments.
Spa treatments cancellation policy-
Cancellations or changes must be made at least 12 hours prior to appointment to avoid being charged in full for the scheduled treatment or service. For cancellation of a package/ 24-hour notice is required. This cancellation policy only applies for spa treatments or packages. For packages that include rooms, the 72-hour policy would apply.
The fitness room features Cybex workout equipment free weights and cardiovascular equipment including Cybex treadmills elliptical cardiovascular machines a recumbent bike and Stairmaster. The men's and women’s locker rooms have day lockers and top-of-the-line amenities including use of plush robes and slippers.
Adjacent to the spa is the heated outdoor pool and whirlpool open year-round.

Cancellations must be made at least 72 hours prior to arrival - hotels local time- in order to avoid penalties. Those who do not cancel by the above time will be charged for one night’s rate.
16 August 2007 through 19 August 2007: 3-night credit-card deposit due at time of booking. All cancellations must be made 45 days prior to arrival, and any cancellation within 45 days will be assessed a charge of three nights’ room and tax.
Other exceptions may apply.
