Tucked offshore of Little Torch Key and accessible only by boat or seaplane, Little Palm Island Resort is a world unto itself, alive with hidden pleasures. Crushed seashell paths wind through lush gardens to thatched-roof bungalows, which serve as your guest quarters. Extra spacious, each suite and grand suite has romantic touches such as a king-size bed draped in butterfly netting, verandas with ocean views and, in some rooms, private outdoor showers and jetted tubs.
From the lagoon-style pool to the meditative Zen Garden or the cozy Great Room library, a perfect serenity sweeps over you as you wander the island. Oversized hammocks beckon from the trees. Lounge chairs nestled in the sand call from the beach. And at the end of the day, return to your private bungalow for peaceful seclusion to dream again.

Coming from New Jersey it takes about 4-5 hours to get there and there are easier trips non stop to much nicer places. The hotel is quaint. The surroundings and scenery very nice.
The pool is small but the mosquitos large.
The restaurant food was better than average but your are pretty much locked into one restaurant and its menu.
The staff was very courteous.
I found the equipment for fishing rotten and poorly maintained.
I do not believe it was worth the price for a couple of days that will cost you over $2,000 with the meals. Mosquito nets are not enough for the evening.
There are much nicer resorts and luxury hotels for the money. -Louis Ferrari, from Staten Island, United States - 10/8/2007
