Featuring some of the most elegant Union Square accommodation facilities, the Warwick Regis Hotel offers 74 rooms including 16 suites that are tastefully appointed in the style of Louis XVI. In 2002, the hotel underwent an extensive renovation. The renovation ensured that Warwick Regis Hotel's European elegance and comfort were retained whilst introducing new color schemes that complement the authentic Louis XVI antique armoires, four-poster and crown-canopied beds and hand-carved headboards. Warwick Regis also added new writing tables as well as wireless Internet and two-line telephones.
Warwick Regis Hotel is a touch of Europe in the heart of San Francisco. This elegant San Francisco hotel was originally designed in 1911 by Arthur Brown Jr. the architect of San Francisco's award-winning City Hall. Today, Warwick Regis is one of San Francisco's most exquisitely accommodating hotels. The hotel building has remained a cherished San Francisco historical landmark since opening in January 1913.

Horrible

The staff was unfriendly, the room has old scratched up furniture, the robe you had to sign for, then it was torn. The maids rush you out of your room to clean then do a horrible job. The room wasn't even clean on my arrival.
I could have stayed at at much nicer hotel across the street for a much cheaper price - $300.00 a night for what I got was a major rip off. This hotel is way over priced and they have nothing at the hotel, the restaurant was always closed, they order from Jack-in-the-Box, what a joke. Wi-Fi doesn't work everyone had to use one in lobby and had a 10 minute limit. I would not stay again and will tell everyone never to go . -Marisa Franco , from MARANA, United States - 2/15/2008

The St. Regis Warwick is an old hotel with few amenities. The room itself was spacious and clean. Staff was friendly. Location in the Theater District would be advantageous if you were coming into town for a show. When you go out the door turn left not right because you would be in the “Tenderloin" of SF a seedy part of town. -Victor, from Queensbury, United States - 10/30/2007
