We were in this hotel for 3 nights and had 2 rooms. The first room I was standing ankle deep in water while taking a shower and the floor of the shower was black. They couldn't give me another room until late the next afternoon and told me I would have to be there by pm or they would give it out to someone else. That inconvenienced my schedule. The 2nd room was cleaner than the first but the tub was still black on the bottom. The heat did not work in this room and I had to call maintenance to come and repair it which took about 45 minutes. We were delayed for dinner because we couldn't shower and dress and the heat unit was in the ceiling of the bathroom. Worse, the man was on a ladder with one foot (dirty boots) on the ladder, the other on the sink countertop with my toiletries on it He didn't even put a cloth down before putting his boot there. The restaurant prices were very high so we did not eat in the hotel. -Lynze Flynn , from Silverthorne, United States - 9/28/2009
Creme De La Creme

With a high concentration of hotels in the Union Square area, this hotel certainly tops the chart on grandeur and style! The staff is attentive, yet non-obtrusive in serving the needs of their guests. I stayed for 4 nights during a business conference and felt very welcomed, comfortable, and special. If you're looking to impress, I would highly recommend The Palace for special occasions. -Rebecca Boomsma , from Oakland, United States - 8/11/2009
