Overview
The Omni San Francisco Hotel provides luxury accommodations in the heart of downtown San Francisco - the jewel of California. This beautiful Nob Hill Hotel is close to everything and is located right on the cable car line. The hotel is only a short walk to Union Square, the San Francisco neighborhood that has become a mecca for high end shopping and art galleries.
Ideal for a romantic getaway, the Omni San Francisco Hotel has all the modern amenities you could want, but maintains a boutique ambiance due to its Florentine Renaissance architecture. Built as a bank in 1926, the lobby is adorned with Italian Marble, rich fabrics and Austrian crystal chandeliers. This classic elegance also makes the hotel the perfect location for a memorable wedding reception. Our onsite restaurant, Bob's Steak and Chop House, is a prestigious Di Rona award winner. Just 20 minutes from San Francisco International Airport, the Omni San Francisco Hotel is the perfect Nob Hill hotel, elegant, comfortable and close to everything.

I did enjoy my stay at the Omni. I would have liked a pool and spa for the price I paid. Nevertheless, the bed was very comfortable and the room was clean and spacious. -Crystal Branker , from San Clemente, United States - 10/9/2009

Great hotel! Room was perfect. Casually mentioned that I was disappointed that the view wasn't better...bell man returned to show me other rooms with better views. When I asked the best way to get to the Wharf they offered me the hotel's town car and suggested a $10.00 tip. EVERYONE was great. It was a perfect start to a perfect vacation. The price was the cherry on the top of the cake! -Lea Cabrera , from Tampa, United States - 6/15/2009

Lyle & Lorri Review

We felt very welcome by the lobby and reservations staff. Our room was very comfortable with a lovely warm ambiance. We enjoyed the location and would love to come back except for one important drawback. Most of the nearby restaurants close on the weekends. We thought we would try the hotel restaurant for breakfast. Once we looked at the price for an egg breakfast with coffee we promptly left. We absolutely could not enjoy eggs and bacon for $30 each. We felt like we were very much taken advantage of with so few choices. Even the nearby McDonald's was closed. So on our last day we had protein bars and room coffee out of protest. We loved our first visit to San Francisco but that one circumstance is enough to make us look elsewhere for our next visit. -Lyle, from Prescott, United States - 3/6/2009
Great Place to Stay!

The hotel staff were great! The hotel was beautiful. The room was very clean and spacious. The bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in at a hotel. The Omni location is perfect since some of the main attractions are just a short walking distance away. Since hotel parking was expensive, we did self parking at St. Mary's Square Garage(about a block and a half away) and only paid $7 for overnight parking (weekend rate). I will be staying here again and I am recommending this hotel to all of my friends and family. -Tara, from San Jose, United States - 2/16/2009

Impeccable Service

From the moment we checked in at the front desk to the moment we left ,the service we received from all staff members was impeccable! We were greeted by name every time we interacted with the front desk staff. The bellman provided excellent service as well! We were given maps to every place we wanted to go in San Francisco! We had a slight delay upon check in so we were offered cocktails (on the house) in the lobby bar! -Janis King , from Benicia, United States - 8/26/2008

My husband & I were in San Francisco to compete in the Escape from Alcatraz Triathlon. Having been to SF a few times before, the Omni appealed to us in relation to its proximity to the city (in the financial district - about a 10 min walk to the main centre of the city and of course the amazing shops), major attractions and its overall facilities.
We could not fault the Omni - The overall ambiance of the hotel was of grandeur, but not pretentious. The service was excellent, from the moment we arrived until we departed, no request was too big or too small. The concierge service was superb, very knowledgeable on all aspects of the city. The interior of our room was furnished to extremely high standards and the overall size of the room was excellent. The greatest asset to the Omni is its staff...from the front desk, concierge, bellboys & housekeeping...excellent service!
I would recommend the Omni to anyone who enjoys the quality & service of a 5-star hotel without "stuffiness" -Simone Morgan , from Melbourne, Australia - 6/24/2008
Lovely, Lovely, Lovely

We stayed simply to get away for the weekend. We received a package that included champagne, chocolate covered strawberries, rose petal turn down service and breakfast the following morning. We were given one of their lovely suites...we had a sitting room and a separate sleeping area. It was lovely. The champagne and strawberries were waiting for us in the room when we arrived. The bathroom was gorgeous. The shower was huge, large enough for two people to fit comfortably. The breakfast the next day was fabulous, coffee was great! They even warmed up the cream for the coffee! The only negative thing I can say is that we never got the rose petal turn down. service...big deal! We can't wait to stay there again! -Charlene Moniz , from Fremont, United States - 2/21/2008

Friendly staff greets you. Hotel car service got us to our dinner. Baseball package gave us peanuts and beer when we arrived in our room. Parking per night expensive and should try and negotiate a better rate.

I was not sure what to expect from a hotel in the middle of the financial district in downtown SF, but it was beautiful. The room was spacious and the bathroom was royal with all the products you may have forgotten. Just off the front desk is the perfect little bar that serves great drinks. I recommend the Omni to anyone looking for a wonderful hotel within walking distance to North Beach, Chinatown, and SHOPPING!!! -Jennifer Marques, from Santa Clara, United States - 10/9/2007
