Relax by the Ocean
 | | Overall rating: | | Value rating : | |
My sister and I overnighted in a cottage with an ocean view. It was lovely. Spacious room with (gas) fireplace and large marble bathroom. Beds were very comfortable. We dined at the main restaurant, where our food was delicious. But the restaurant is a bit dark and dead feeling. Had a great swim in the pool in the morning and enjoyable walk on the trail north of the hotel. Looked at the spa, but didn't have time to partake. A pleasant get-away. -Susanne V. Relaxation Ocean-Side

A great romantic getaway that seems so far off the beaten path but is so close to the San Francisco Bay Area. The staff at the Ritz is attentive to your every need. The ocean views are incredible. Get a room with a fireplace for those cool months. Beware, summer can be quite foggy on the coastline in the morning. -David, from Alameda, CA, United States - 10/11/2007
