Beautiful Rooms

I was disappointed that I did not get to eat dinner at the hotel (closed on Sunday nights) but other than that, was very satisfied with our stay. The rainfall shower head was incredible and the soap smelled so delicious. Room was large and clean, bed VERY comfortable. The spa was OK, but even a bad massage is a good massage in my opinion!

Setup of bathroom and shower without a door is whacky. Water seeps all over the bathroom floor.

Ask If You Want to Receive

Hotel is lovely. But, if you want to receive your "Upgrade, $10 credit and Yoga class" you must ask, as the desk personnel claimed ignorance. We were able to upgrade the room (but only with 2 queens not a King) and then let the credit and yoga drop as it just didn't seem worth the hassle. We did show proof (thank goodness we printed out the Perfect Escape paperwork).
Only true complaint would be the exercise facility. No A/C, no TV, no music, no towels, no water cups, no audio plugins, no book racks (maybe we are spoiled).

Was very disappointed at check out when i was informed I could not upgrade room not because it wasn't available but because I already purchased one of the upgraded rooms. So a bit upset I paid extra for what I did not need to. Room was nice, but not in the upgraded category.
On a positive note, the spa staff, experience, overall was spectacular!

The hotel is easy to find and conveniently located at walking distance to various restaurants. My room was on the second floor in the back, very quiet with a large flat screen TV. The bed was super comfortable in a large clean room and the huge shower with two shower heads was neat. I tried Reds (their restaurant) for lunch that was good. I would consider staying there again.

From Phoenix: Travel north on Interstate 17 to Hwy 260 (exit 287). Turn left on Hwy 260. Go approximately 15 miles to Cottonwood. Turn right on Hwy 89A to Sedona. The Sedona Rouge Hotel & Spa will be on your left on the corner of 89A and Rodeo Drive. Estimated travel time – 2 hours
From Phoenix Airport: Exit the airport at the 24th St. exit and continue to the entrance to Hwy 17 north towards Flagstaff. Take interstate 17 north to Hwy 260. Go approximately 15 miles to Cottonwood. Turn right on Hwy 89A to Sedona. The Sedona Rouge Hotel &I Spa will be on your left on the corner of 89A and Rodeo Drive. Estimated travel time – 2 hours
From the Grand Canyon: Take Hwy 64 south to hwy 40. Go east on Hwy 40 to Hwy 17 south. Travel on Hwy 17 south to Hwy 89 south through Oak Creek Canyon. Stay on 89A past the intersection of Hwy 179. The Sedona Rouge Hotel & Spa will be on your right on the corner of 89A and Rodeo Drive. Estimated travel time – 2 hours
From Flagstaff: Interstate 17 approximately 3 miles south to Hwy 89A south. Take Hwy 89A south to Sedona through Oak Creek Canyon. Stay on 89A past the intersection of Hwy 179. The Sedona Rouge Hotel & Spa will be on your right on the corner of 89A and Rodeo Drive. Estimated travel time – 30 minutes
From Las Vegas: Travel south on Interstate 515 towards Kingman, Arizona. Exit east on Interstate 40 towards Flagstaff. Exit Interstate 17 south at Flagstaff towards Phoenix. Take Hwy 89A south to Sedona through Oak Creek Canyon.
