What an amazing hotel and spa! -Michela, from liberty, United States |

Overview
This boutique hotel and spa immediately separates itself from the standard architectural vernacular of the Southwest. Designed and fashioned with Andalusian and Morrocan motifs, Sedona Rouge reimagines ancient Roman, French, Mediterranean and North African cultures that enlivened 11th century Andalusian Spain. Luxury, color and attention to detail are pleasing to the senses and provoke relaxation and enjoyment.
The spa, set apart from the main hotel, is an oasis of relaxation and pampering, offering an exceptionally broad array of luxury facilities and treatments, focusing on caring for the body, centering the mind, and connecting with spirit, all in a dramatically beautiful setting with eight treatment room including one couple's room and seven spa guestroom suites, Sedona Rouge offers the highest guestroom-to-spa-room ratio in the southwest. Signature amenities include indoor and outdoor whirlpools and showers, innovative seasonally themed treatments and the serene delights of the tranquility room and garden. Come early and stay late; this is a vacation from your vacation.

Very friendly staff, comfortable beds, nice bath products...Ask for a room in the back facing the rocks, that made a big difference. -Ariane Leiter , from Atascadero, United States - 10/26/2009
Forget Upgrade

I was upgraded from 2 queens to a king. They put me over the Spa, overlooking the parking lot. Too far to get WiFi reception. No ice machine in Spa building. Small room compared to 2 queens. -Louis Kaufman , from Breckenridge, United States - 10/22/2009

Our room was beautiful, we loved the spa, pool and fitness center. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The food and service at the hotel restaurant was also very good!
My niece and I stayed for 3 days and it was truly a perfect escape for both of us. -Marie Menke , from Dearborn, United States - 10/1/2009
Could Be Perfect...But
 | | Overall rating: | | Value rating : | |
This is a gorgeous place and a great deal with fabulous breakfast. The restaurant staff are nice too. But the front desk and spa staff are cold and rude and make you feel unwelcome and that you should not ask for any assistance or service. Weird attitude for a so called New Age town! It's advertised as a spa hotel but check out is 11 am and the steam room and jacuzzi doesn't open until then. So if you check in after 6pm and have to leave the next day you can't actually enjoy the spa. They should open it at 10am and have checkout at noon.
Overall a lovely place, shame about the staffers! -Zoe, from Los Angeles, United States - 8/24/2009
Will Be Returning

Very nice hotel. High end finishes and a huge two head shower. While right on 89A we had no problem at all with road noise. Very nice staff as well. -Rick Korzep , from Scottsdale, United States - 7/14/2009
Amazing

WOW, what an amazing hotel and spa! The beds are so comfy you want to take them home, and the service is amazing, everyone was so helpful and kind. If you stay here, make sure you make a trip to the spa, it is well worth your time and money. This is one of Sedona's best treasures, and next time we visit, The Rouge is the only place we'll stay. Thanks for making our trip so special. -Michela, from liberty, United States - 6/22/2009
Enjoyed Stay
 | | Overall rating: | | Value rating : | |
The room was large and clean. Great shower in the bathroom. Air conditioner didn't work all that well. Staff was somewhat helpful, it wasn't so great when we checked in, it was better when we checked out. Spa was clean and nice however very small the spa(jacuzzi) only holds 4 people. There are only two showers and the ones in our room were better. Staff was friendly and helpful. Steam room was very small sitting room only. Overall it was nice, but limited. -Desiree Munroe , from Ventura, United States - 6/4/2009
Stay Here!

Excellent hotel. Very clean and central in West Sedona area. Restaurant was reasonable compared to others in the area and food was excellent as well. Spa was out of this world! -David Scott Worrell , from Warwick, United States - 5/4/2009
Nice Hotel
 | | Overall rating: | | Value rating : | |
Our hotel room was very nice and we enjoyed having the fireplace. The location of our room was not great though - we were right across from a seating area on the third floor and people could look directly into our room. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel and both were very good. -Raymond Doving , from Richmond, United States - 4/27/2009
Sedona Rouge Exceeded Our Expectations
 | | Overall rating: | | Value rating : | |
We spent 6 days of our 15 day trip at the Sedona Rouge. It certainly was the lodging highlight of our vacation. We felt pampered as one would feel on a luxury cruise boat. The rooms were spotless, the staff was friendly at all times, the cleaning staff let us know that they were available at all times, the hotel location was outstanding, and our bed was turned down for us every evening. Sleeping on the bed was like floating on a cloud, and the bathroom facilities and decor were first class. Perfect Escapes provided a very competitive rate, far exceeding other similar options. I would certainly stay at Sedona Rouge again, and I hope that I will be able to use Perfect Escapes on my next vacation. -Michael, from Kenner, United States - 4/13/2009
Sedona Oasis
 | | Overall rating: | | Value rating : | |
The Sedona Rouge is very stylish yet warm and friendly. The room amenities-bathroom, shower, fireplace-are well above average. There seem to be gorgeous views to be had, but we didn't have one. There was no problem getting the extras promised based on booking through Perfect Escapes. It was not an issue that there's not much to do in Sedona after dark because we enjoyed spending time in the room! -Becky, from Kansas City, United States - 1/9/2009
Bug?
 | | Overall rating: | | Value rating : | |
I had to sleep on the floor from 2nd night cause of my bad back .
When I told my problem to front desk and asked for help they brought our room 2 blankets(no sheets) and I got bug bites every night.
Also when I was sitting on floor, I started itching on my bare feet. I want to come back to Sedona but I might stay at another place. -kyoko, from Port Washington , United States - 12/26/2008
Beautiful Rooms
 | | Overall rating: | | Value rating : | |
I was disappointed that I did not get to eat dinner at the hotel (closed on Sunday nights) but other than that, was very satisfied with our stay. The rainfall shower head was incredible and the soap smelled so delicious. Room was large and clean, bed VERY comfortable. The spa was OK, but even a bad massage is a good massage in my opinion! -Andrea, from Fresno, United States - 10/20/2008
Overall Great Experience

Great location. Well kept. Great bed.
Setup of bathroom and shower without a door is whacky. Water seeps all over the bathroom floor. -Murray, from Waltham, United States - 10/14/2008

Ask If You Want to Receive
 | | Overall rating: | | Value rating : | |
Hotel is lovely. But, if you want to receive your "Upgrade, $10 credit and Yoga class" you must ask, as the desk personnel claimed ignorance. We were able to upgrade the room (but only with 2 queens not a King) and then let the credit and yoga drop as it just didn't seem worth the hassle. We did show proof (thank goodness we printed out the Perfect Escape paperwork).
Only true complaint would be the exercise facility. No A/C, no TV, no music, no towels, no water cups, no audio plugins, no book racks (maybe we are spoiled).
-Nanette Conkel , from Pleasant Hill, United States - 5/22/2008
Sedona Rouge Hotel and Spa

Was very disappointed at check out when i was informed I could not upgrade room not because it wasn't available but because I already purchased one of the upgraded rooms. So a bit upset I paid extra for what I did not need to. Room was nice, but not in the upgraded category.
On a positive note, the spa staff, experience, overall was spectacular! -Leighann, from Phoenix, United States - 3/31/2008
