Wonderful service, unique decor. Wish the package included parking instead of bottle of wine -- the parking and its taxes accounted for one third of the price. But, overall, a great value. -Deborah, from Palm City, United States - 8/5/2011

Attentive friendly staff, great restaurant, central location in Denver Theater District. This is the only place we'll be staying in Denver from now on. -Chris, from Boulder, United States - 5/4/2010

We booked a romantic weekend at the Teatro after our Barcelona vacation was canceled by the volcano. The service was friendly and prompt. The room was light and airy with nice views. The location cannot be beat as you are in walking distance to numerous excellent restaurants, theaters, movies, and the Pepsi Center. One restaurant that should not be missed is the Kevin Taylor which is part of the hotel. Will definitely be back! -Chris, from Boulder, United States - 4/26/2010

Nice hotel, good location, close to restaurants, pedestrian mall and across the street from the performing arts center in Denver. Nice rooms. Courteous staff. Valet parking expensive, $26 a day and no self-park. -Charles P, from Silverthorne, United States - 2/16/2010

The Teatro is a beautiful hotel that provides excellent service. Rooms are lovely. Proximity to cultural and nightlife venues excellent, but traffic noise in our room interfered with our sleep. -Edward B, from chevy chase, United States - 2/16/2010

We stayed at Hotel Teatro for a special romantic night for my birthday after attending the Denver Western Stock Show. Loved the feeling of the hotel and were really glad we were able to get the superior king room by booking through this site. I originally booked a petite king directly with the hotel for $149/night and through this site I was able to get the larger king room for $152. We had dinner at Prima in the hotel and had some pretty funky service. The food was OK, not great. Overall, I would stay at this hotel again. -Julie G, from Steamboat Springs, United States - 1/14/2010

Love This Hotel!
 | | Overall rating: | | Value rating : | |
My fiance and I stayed here to celebrate two years of being together. It truly was a perfect escape. We really enjoyed the early check in and late check out; this made us feel like our celebration was a weekend getaway instead of just a night out. Hotel Teatro's service is outstanding...our only hiccup was they were late delivering our free bottle of wine (another perk of booking through Perfect Escapes), but they were very apologetic about it. The room was wonderful, the bed extremely comfortable, and we enjoyed the rain shower and bathtub. Keep in mind that fees can add up, though - the $26 for valet parking is added to your bill. To be fair though, it would cost that much to park your car downtown anywhere. Overall, we LOVED Hotel Teatro, and we hope to make our stay there an annual event. -Annette, from Aurora, United States - 12/24/2009
5 Stars

This is a beautiful hotel with close proximity to almost anything you want to do in a big city. The rooms are gorgeous and actually quite large. There are tons of great restaurants within walking distance. Also a bike path if you are inclined to work off that bountiful dinner from the night before. A couple of things: The restaurant on-site is quite pricey, but good. Also, they charge $22 for valet parking (the only option). You will be paying that almost anywhere downtown. The location is prime if you are looking for a place to lay your head after seeing a show at the Performing Arts Complex...only 1 block away. Overall...amazing hotel with character. Would return in a heartbeat! -Ross K, from Fort Collins, United States - 12/2/2009

Lovely Stay
 | | Overall rating: | | Value rating : | |
The hotel was very nice. Staff was helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, and we loved the wine and chocolates that greeted us. There was a strange ticking that we could hear intermittently through the wall, but that was the only distraction during an otherwise great stay. The hotel has a lot of character in a good way. Very cozy without feeling worn-down. The room accommodations were modern and the bathroom especially was great. Plus, you can't beat the location: walking distance to a million great restaurants and bars. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to family or friends and I would certainly tell them to get the deal through Perfect Escapes. Free wine! -Liz, from Denver, United States - 9/29/2009

We had a very large, corner room. Very elegant when we walked in. Didn't think the couches were all that comfortable, however! We had a marvelous dinner in the French restaurant. -Judith S, from Aspen, United States - 7/14/2009
Great Downtown Location
 | | Overall rating: | | Value rating : | |
This hotel is beautiful, spotless and is perfectly located to all downtown shopping and restaurants. I got a great deal on the hotel stay through Perfect Escapes but the $27/night parking was still a bit too much - especially since the valet took 1/2 hr to get our car. Despite that, I would recommend this hotel and definitely stay here again. -Mia, from Brooklyn, United States - 6/24/2009
A Great Show Place
 | | Overall rating: | | Value rating : | |
Situated in downtown Denver's theater district and named and themed accordingly, Hotel Teatro is a quiet, elegant oasis in the city center. The rooms are small but very comfortable, the food is excellent though pricey, and the staff could not be more accommodating and courteous. My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful romantic overnight getaway, and we'll certainly come back and recommend it to our friends and family. The only drawback was noisy building construction across the street beginning fairly early in the morning. -James, from Colorado Springs, United States - 4/27/2009

Boutique Hotel

I've recently stayed at this hotel (March 3-5, 2009) for business purposes. When I go to Denver my preference is the Hyatt, however I've got a great deal on Hotel Teatro over the Internet. What a pleasant surprise! Hotel Teatro surpassed my expectations of a boutique hotel.
If you are looking for a quality hotel, this gem has it all! Friendly staff, extremely clean rooms, great decor and location. Well appointed rooms, spacious, cozy bed and top of the line products- Aveda and Frette sheets, towels and bathrobes. Service at Hotel Teatro is second to none, food is great although I only had breakfast there.
If you are a business traveler you will find that Hotel Teatro has everything to offer to most discerning guests. This is truly a 5-star hotel. My rating is based on my experience from luxury hotels around the world (Paris, New York, London and so forth) only. Hotel Teatro was a very enjoyable experience!

Make a Night of It
 | | Overall rating: | | Value rating : | |
A block from the Performing Arts Center, Hotel Teatro is the perfect way to end a perfect night on the town. The rooms are simple, but sophisticated with "spa-like" bathrooms to really help you feel like you have escaped from the city. The bed melts around you when you lie down. It was quite possibly the best bed I have ever slept in. There were Godiva chocolates and a bottle of wine on the table in the room with a "thank you" note from the concierge, which was a very nice touch! I only wish we would have spent more time there. -Thomas, from Thornton, United States - 2/11/2009
Would Stay Again
 | | Overall rating: | | Value rating : | |
Hotel Teatro was classy, modern, hip, close to restaurants/nightlife. The room decor was great and the bathroom (with spa tub and rainshower) was AWESOME! Definitely recommend getting room with full bathroom. Beds/bedding very comfy. Staff was excellent. Booking through PE was great- loved the room upgrade and bottle of wine. City noise may bother some, but not obtrusive. -Amber, from Denver, United States - 2/4/2009
Excellent Hotel in Theater District
 | | Overall rating: | | Value rating : | |
I was in Denver for a seminar that started on Sunday. Instead of staying at the hotel where the seminar was being held, I stayed at the Hotel Teatro. The location was excellent and the room was superb. The corner room was spacious and the desk was perfect for getting caught up on some work that I brought with me. The no charge for internet access was an excellent perk. The bathroom was well supplied and luxurious.
When I arrived at the Hotel on Saturday night, there was a wedding in progress. Everyone was dressed to the "Nines".
This is a very special hotel well suited for a rendezvous with your lover. -Allen L, from Chicago, United States - 11/9/2008
Very Nice Hotel and Staff
 | | Overall rating: | | Value rating : | |
I recently stayed here while at a conference. I live nearby, but didn't want to drive home after the reception. As I had never been to Hotel Teatro before, I stopped by earlier in the week to look at a room. The concierge made the time to ensure I was able to see a room that would be comparable to what I was booking, and the front desk staff were very helpful.
I arrived early and was shown straight to an upgraded room where I settled in and was able to work (using the free Wifi connection) prior to going over to the reception.
I travel a lot for business and have stayed in many different hotels - many extremely nice. I found that the Hotel Teatro is in a perfect location with excellent restaurants both there and close by. The room was comfortable and nicely appointed, and the staff is friendly and efficient. I was very impressed and would stay at the Hotel Teatro again. -Megan, from Lafayette, United States - 10/27/2008

Wonderful Experience

Overall wonderful experience, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and the rooms were not large, but felt roomy. Service was also great, the only thing they don't really make you aware of is the $26 parking fee, so make sure to add that to the room rate because there are virtually no other options for parking at the location. -Travis W, from Fort Collins, United States - 6/9/2008
