The Royal Palms was wonderful: beautiful surroundings, well-kept grounds and luxurious accommodations. The staff was informed and helpful, from the parking valets to the bellmen to the pool attendants. The "complimentary room upgrade" and "late checkout," we were told, not available. Doubtful, however, given that the resort was not at full occupancy. Very disappointing.

What an wonderful escape from the rain in Maryland. The Montevista Terrace room was exactly as pictured. Staff wonderful, grounds beautiful. Would highly recommend.
