Overview
Established in 1969 by Robert Redford as an experiment in environmental stewardship and artistic expression, Sundance is truly a place of vision. On the slopes of 12,000 foot Mt. Timpanogos, Sundance offers the best of all seasons abundant Utah powder in the winter/lush spring and summer landscapes/as well as the ignition of brilliant fall colors. Our lodging is a collection of rustic western architecture that is a reflection of/rather than an intrusion upon the landscape. Our interiors are warm, decorated in the colors of the land. Cottages are luxurious with all of the amenities needed to feel right at home. They are tucked into the woods or alongside a mountain stream. Enjoy an art experience in our creative studio, a treatment in our full service spa or a 5 star dining experience at our award-winning Tree Room restaurant. All forms of recreation are available to engage in the stunning environment that is Sundance. 41 alpine ski runs are available along with several miles of cross-country skiing. When the snow melts, there is mountain biking/ hiking/ scenic lift rides/fly fishing/horseback riding/golf water sports and scenic mountain drives all on-property or within minutes of Sundance. Committed to the promotion of the arts/ culturally enriching opportunities await our guests year-round. Live music/outdoor symphonies/art shows/yoga/art classes/screenings of films and author series are among what we have to offer. An earth-to-table philosophy is integrated into all Sundance eating venues. The Tree Room is intimate and candlelit with its walls hung with Native American memorabilia from Robert Redford's personal collection. The Foundry Grill serves western cooking from a wood burning oven and rotisserie while the Sundance Deli offers delectable items in the setting of an old country store. The Owl Bar features items from the Foundry Grill in the original 1890s Rosewood Bar favored by Butch Cassidy's Hole-In-The-Wall Gang.

Two-night credit card deposit is due at time of booking, entire stay deposit due 2 weeks prior to arrival. One-night reservations require full deposit. All deposits subject to the hotel’s cancellation policy. Within 24 hours of arrival all deposits are non-refundable. No credits applied for late arrival or early departure. Your credit card will be charged at the time of booking and must be presented on arrival.
