Great Service and Wonderful Room
 | | Overall rating: | | Value rating : | |
Highlights from our stay were the fantastic Spa Suite we stayed in with the big jetted tub and the spacious floor plan, and the free drinks vouchers we received due to a short wait when we were checking in. -Joel M, from Aloha, United States - 4/2/2010
Great Location

We parked our car and left it for about 30 hours and were able to walk to most of the Portland downtown area or take MAX to wherever we wanted to go. The Starlight room was fun, looking off at the sky and rooftops into the multi-story bank building next door. We will be back. -Gale J, from Amity, United States - 7/6/2009
Very Nice Hotel in Great Location
 | | Overall rating: | | Value rating : | |
This hotel was very convenient. The bed was extremely comfortable and overall it was a very nice experience. My only complaint is that I felt that there was inadequate parking at a reasonable price nearby. -Randall L, from Eugene, United States - 5/18/2009

Hotel Vintage Plaza prides itself in customer satisfaction. From the Bellmen to the front desk clerks, everyone wants to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Location is great. Can find all types of restaurants and shopping within blocks of the hotel. It was the perfect getaway for a night. Loved the free wine in the evening. Was surprised at how quiet it was at night. -Julie, from Vancouver , United States - 11/26/2008
The Best Stay of My Life!
 | | Overall rating: | | Value rating : | |
The staff was unbelievably friendly and polite. The service was amazing, everything we asked for we got and with a smile. No matter how busy they were, they acknowledged the guests with a smile and a wave. The beds were very comfortable and everything was very convenient including the proximity to everything you could need in the Portland! I loved it and will definitely be staying again. -Rita F, from Seattle, United States - 10/30/2008
Nice Stay Except for the Crying Baby Next Door
 | | Overall rating: | | Value rating : | |
I think the title says it all. The stay was overall good, but my husband and I were looking for a "getaway" and there was a crying infant next door-NOT relaxing, goal was to get away from kids. I was tempted to ask to change rooms-but did not-should have for the amount of money we paid. -Amanda, from newberg, United States - 10/14/2008
Baby + Dog = Crappy Room
 | | Overall rating: | | Value rating : | |
It was just me with a baby (19 mos) and a dog and we definitely got the crappy room... small in a corner, no light etc. Even though we were really quiet (the dog is 13 and the baby sleeps all night) I kind of don't blame them for giving us that room. It just sucked a bit for me! -Danette J, from Seattle, United States - 9/16/2008

Nice surprise with upgrade at no additional cost. Wine tasting was a nice treat. Staff was very professional and helpful. Bed was "OK". Not quite as comfortable as would have liked. Reported that heating/cooling system didn't seem to be working very well. -James K, from Cottage Grove, United States - 7/22/2008
Hotel Vintage Plaza Review
 | | Overall rating: | | Value rating : | |
We loved the hotel, hot tub and decor. Room service didn't start until 8:30 on Sunday and they were already 1 hour behind when we called (basically the staff member sounded as if he was was hoping we wouldn't order, which we didn't). We booked a king room but ended up with Queen bed, which for this hotel also meant much smaller room -disappointing since this was our anniversary and we were hoping to splurge on the big room and room service. They said the two king rooms with hot tubs weren't available because others ,who were on longer stays, were already in them. I wish I'd understood how that worked as the large room was more important to us than having the hot tub. All in all it is a lovely hotel near several choice options for dining. -Margaret B, from Portland, United States - 2/13/2008
Nice Stay
 | | Overall rating: | | Value rating : | |
The Hotel Vintage Plaza proved to be a good experience. The staff was polite and helpful, the rooms were clean, the location was perfect and the list goes on. A couple negatives were the steep parking fees ( $29 in the same public garage that charges $17 a day) and also the doormen were only half adequate at being there to open the door for you. These issues being small, I would definitely consider this hotel again for my next stay in Portland. -Harry, from Tallahassee, United States - 1/8/2008
Vintage Plaza Review

The room I had was small and smelled of cigarette smoke. The bathroom was modest for this price. The HVAC unit was noisy all night. The street noise wasn't any fun. The place looked old but had spent a little money being updated, but it was not a top notch job. -Douglas L, from Houston, United States - 11/26/2007
Boutique Hotel in Every Sense of the Term

Enjoyed the attention to detail in the rooms and in the lobby. Also liked the friendly attitude of the receptionists and door handlers. The evening wine tasting with the piano music provided a wonderful touch to our stay. We enjoyed meeting people at these events. The pianist, Billy, and his pup Sandy, were a welcome sight each evening. His music filled our hearts and provided a great way to relax from the day's events. Along with the exquisitely designed setting the ambiance of music, wine, fireplace, guests and service providers are a perfect formula for a perfect escape. -Gerald, from Portland, United States - 11/19/2007
